Me and a couple buddies spent the last two days at Spooky Pinball, play testing three AMH's ready to ship. It was a bitch of a job, but someone had to do it. I don't know who the games are going to, but they all played smooth as can be and I know the owners will be very happy.

Quoted from SpookyCharlie:

I think we forgot to put the "Inspected by Bryan" decal in your game. Hope it makes it safe & sound sir!
He came in, drank a bunch of beer, told me our stapler sucked (he was right) and told me to order the same pneumatic model he uses in his hospital-clean workshop.
So we did. Because he's Bryan &%$#ing Kelly.

Hopefully, we didn't leave any "empties" in that one.

Quoted from OldHarley:

Put my order in. Can't wait to play it. Never seen or played it but the posts here convinced me to order it.

Hopefully Charlie let's me know when yours is ready to ship and we can leave some "special" something in yours too.

Quoted from Whysnow:

Do I have to pay extra for the BK treatment on mine?

We'll leave some full ones. But just for you, Hilton.

Quoted from FatAussieBogan:

Is theme really that important?

Sadly, it's been seen over and over again. Some will buy a game strictly based on the theme alone. I think if AMH was based on some movie or TV theme, it'd be selling way better. It's a great playing game. Why aren't more selling?

Quoted from Whysnow:

A few of the reasons that I have heard (in no order of importance or commonness of reason):
1. "6k is a lot of money"
2. "For <5k I can get a Sternpro which is a known company"
3. "I did not even know this pin existed"
4. "Too long to deliver, if I could buy right now then I would get one"
5. "New company and too many unknowns"
6. "I don't like the theme"
7. "I don't like the art"
8. "I don't like the callouts"
9. "I heard some old MN drunk is in it"
Lots of reasons that people have held back and I think theme is only 1 of the things in the more complex equation. Sure, liscences can sell games, but there are many factors that can help/hurt. Luckily for spooky they are doing well, AMH WILL sell out, and they will learn and improve for the next title they make!

Oh, I couldn't agree more, Hilton. They're all part of the big equation.

9. "I heard some old MN drunk is in it"

He's actually a multi talented voice over guy and the best part is, he works for beer.
