Let’s start the process 
The others you mention, actually(or is meant to) add value to the machine, in big or small amounts, depending what you choose to do. Regardless how it’s viewed, it’s still adding something. To literally do nothing, but yet expect to get paid that kind of money, those individuals need to go pound sand.
In any case, their money spent, their machine, their sucker to weasel money out of if they find a buyer.
