    G'day!

So I'm looking through the assembler source code files that were used to control the Apollo 11 spacecraft, and here are these two modules. Astonishment was an understatement. Pinball made it to outer space and we didn't even know it!

These two modules in particular establish controllers for the keyboards, displays, and monitors. It's all very heavily-documented in comments. There's even Shakespearean verses in the comments! Shakespeare was part of some 1969 software. That's really heavy!

The code is available on GitHub.

Also, meet Margaret Hamilton. Yes, there are two Goddesses with that name. This Goddess was the director and supervisor for the Apollo and Skylab code. That stack she's next to are printouts for all the modules that went into controlling Apollo 11.

She will be 80 years old this August 17th.

I imagine Lady Ada Byron and Grace Hopper will be more than happy to have her in their immortal company!

PINBALL MADE IT TO OUTER SPACE IN 1969, DUDES!
