I got to play this a few times this weekend at TPF. First things first, it is a crazy good-looking game in person, toy printing quality aside. The art and lighting is as good as any game I have seen in person. The video assets are fine in person and the campiness fits. Sadly, the game just isn't fun to shoot for me, especially compared to the other new games at the show. I had several lengthy games on it and by the time I was on ball 3 I just wasn't interested anymore. It feels like an early Sys 11 game to me. If you are looking for that then you may love it, but I have a hard time spending 9k on a Sys11 feeling game, at least one that isn't fun to shoot. The sound was hard to judge b/c I think there was something kind of wrong with it at the show. It was insanely harsh and actually hurt my ears at times. It wasn't a volume thing as a lot of games were crazy loud, but this one was painful. That kind of thing can be fixed though...layout..not so much.
I hope those that do buy one love it. For new games, Foo Fighters, Pulp Fiction and Scooby-Doo were a lot more fun for me at least.
