When can I put my deposit down on this one? I would like the Denny Deluxe version, please.

Its like they changed their theme in the video. The machine is Galactic Tank Force, yet the videos show fighter space ships launching and attacking an enemy tank... The only tanks we see are ones we fight. Why not call it Galactic Rocket Force?
the on screen stuff is the least interesting thing I was waiting to be revealed
The actual game looks promising though.
Quoted from Zablon:Yeah, I can take the video...I get what they are going for...but we need more gameplay. What I saw in the trailer was lacking. No sounds when the pops went off. Whats the deal with the magnet in front of the tank? Etc etc.
Barncade will have gameplay footage from the Arcade Hollywood channel on YouTube. From his teaser it looks like it will be a professional setup to see the game in action. Curious to see how it plays.
Quoted from Rarehero:There's an art to camp 50's acting. There's a fine line between funny/camp & Tommy Wisseau's The Room.
That being said, it's going to be on a small LCD, not projected on a movie screen...it might work. This trailer leaned WAAAAAAY too hard on the footage...it should have shown more gameplay with a small window showing choreographed LCD footage.
Totally agree here. Regardless of our thoughts on the acting, the trailer did not do what it needed to do: get us excited about the game.
Looked cool, then I saw the price. $9k base price for some spinners, pops, and a ramp. Lol. It does look fun.
Quoted from Cheeks:The first game where playing it at a loud bar is a better experience than in your home.
Well, there is the music in TS4
anyone getting any info on when it ships other than 6-12 weeks according to game exchange? are they making LE or Deluxe first?
Clips and acting are pretty much the campy/fun it seemed like this game has been going for. Most any game's video clips taken in isolation they way they presented it in this trailer aren't going to be super exciting or interesting. Looking forward to seeing how it all comes together for game play though.
Definitely the Nordman humor translating into live actors. If you follow his pins, this is right on the money.
Quoted from iceman44:I love it! I’m in.
Different, campy, love the layout.
Enjoy the pinball hangover.
Great drinking game!
Surely they are not using *that* live acting for the cut scenes?
If they do... maybe it is open-sourced so we could make NEW cut scenes!
Quoted from iceman44:Anybody know why the “signature” is $18k?
Lunchbox
someone mentioned that they may have seen the actresses in other types of movies.... maybe...

FOMO pricing
Sort of reminds me of that kids show Lazy Town...
Unfortunately those clips smashed my whole excitement for the game but I hope they do well and keep making games. We need more manufacturers that don't punch out cookie cutter stuff.
If those are the call outs and lcd animations, they blew it. Have Seen better acting on pornhub, scrambled cable box 90s skinamax.
Huge swing and a miss.
Quoted from BMore-Pinball:From what I saw in the video, Final Resistance has a better tank[quoted image]
I do have that on order and that does look like an awesome tank!
So are the actors in the game as well? Or just for the promo video? I saw they have animations also from that news feature.
I wish they could have afforded someone like John de Lancie to really ham it up for them. But again, I liked what I saw
Quoted from Apollo18:So, using animation instead of those “actors”
Would have tipped the price point to …??
They could have gotten my kid to do the artwork and it would have only cost them $8900…
This isn’t an academy award effort!
Same reason I love my Elvira HOH.
Lots of cool stuff going on here
I sure hope the audio is not that bad if they're using video in the actual game. It sounds like they either forgot to close mic or used on-camera mics. This is not an artistic feature, it's an oversight. Dialog that sounds like it was recorded in a small room with no sound treatment does not translate well when competing against direct voice-over. Hope they sort it out.
but, correct me if Im wrong, in MST3K or Elvira, isnt it funny because you are watching movies that take themselves seriously and fail?
..maybe im just mean spirited
Quoted from NC_Pin:would have been better as a DMD game...
Or just pulp fiction style
*sigh*
I miss the 90s promos when you had only 5 minutes to convince an operator that your game is gonna make them loads of money.
This trickle gameplay strategy most companies are doing is driving me nuts.
Quoted from m00nmuppet:Definitely the Nordman humor translating into live actors. If you follow his pins, this is right on the money.
Is he known for his humor? Because I think I’m funny but my wife not so much…
Quoted from Scoot:It's like Mystery Science Theater meets Pinball. I love it!
For me it's only fun when the cheese/campiness was unintentional, honest, as was the case with the movies featured in MST3K. When it is deliberate it feels like the movie Mars Attacks!, forced and looking down on the material.
Quoted from Acronymicon:but, correct me if Im wrong, in MST3K or Elvira, isnt it funny because you are watching movies that take themselves seriously and fail?
yes and no... the Elvira cut scenes are well done. The movie scenes are from just stupid movies. This was cringe
