I just hope they price it right - can’t wait to see this shoot.
Quoted from Zablon:I don't think it would matter. You have basically full on photos of the machine. People either like it or don't. They've all done this, and let's just face it pinball manufacturers aren't the best promoters.
Yea blurry photos laced in purple. It's punny factory class.
I'm really pissed. I kind of like ap. Quality is really good and i think it's great keeping games available. They have abit of odd games, which has charm.
However presenting your product in such a way, when there are three competetors just fired their best shot, should ofc get someone in marketing fired. If they even have anybody at marketing (doubtful)

JJP marketing is top notch. And I’m still not buying their pin. We’re a bit old for commercialism.
Quoted from Black_Knight:We should have big torpedo bras everywhere!
Quoted from KING-HENRY:Ignore that dude on the right, straight-up HATING this pin on that podcast..made me want to flick his ear. He basically trashed every pin coming out (in one way or another) except GF..wow. Then he trashes Pinside for the haters..hmmm. lmao
They are sponsored by JJP and Multimorphic so every game by those manufacturers are masterpieces obviously, strange how that works.
Quoted from dpadam450:Haven't seen the double post before. Has that been done? I guess try to slam the machine and get it back into play?
[quoted image]
Look closer. There is a roller switch with ball guides under each flipper.
Edit. I'm late to the party. Now I understand the comments about Lucky switches that I didn't see before.

Kind of. That flipper, middle post and lane setup is similar to the throwback style employed by Wheel Of Fortune, also by Dennis.
pasted_image (resized).pngI'm liking what I'm seeing; this is AP being prepared to take a risk. It genuinely is like nothing else on the market right now.
Hmmm, so what's the deal with the upper wire form running across the back of the game, above the left ramp? Am I seeing things?
You can definitely see the ramp is plastic and runs above the rollover lanes, and this wireform is then above that.
And what is going over in the right corner with the ramp and diverter setup. Clearly there is one vuk and wireform to flip up onto the right return wireform, but there's to be some other crazy stuff up there.
And that swinging target shot or something to the right of the tank looks interesting. Definitely don't see drops I the slot in the PF.
Screenshot_20230312-161641~2 (resized).pngThis jumps out as a swinging target slot center of this image, right and behind the center tank thing. Perhaps target leaning to the left currently behind that tank/ship nacelle??
No drops that I can see in that slot, but there is something odd there. This has to be something to shoot and not just a rubber bumper area, right?
Screenshot_20230312-163017~2 (resized).pngQuoted from EaglePin:This is why I don't understand why AP hasn't been doing a good rollout of this game to present it they way they want customers to see it instead of doing 3 teaser trailers followed by spy style pictures.
These pics are now the first impression for everyone and can be interpreted a ton of different ways, but AP could have cleared it all up by being the first to show it with good pics and providing some info about gameplay to go with it.
Pretty much the standard though for releases in the past few years.
Foo and GF were both very fortunate in controlling their leaky pipes in house.
I'd definitely rather see a full release video/stream/campaign than to have leaks happen. Half assed photos rarely help release direction.

open when lit' maybe that's where the physical ball lock is (when not lit?) and acts as a diverter when lit, then if a ball lock, that cross wireform could be a VUK that shoots out the mulitball..maybe..

The artwork in front of it makes me think swinging target as well
If there is interaction like a shaker or coil to move the tank/ship thing when you're bashing those stand up targets, that will be really cool. Even with just lightshow integration, that could be super fun and dangerous to bash. I like that it's 5 small targets, with obvious likely significance to hitting the center one. I hope they do something cool with inserts, looks like a long slot insert across the front like a shield. Be cool to see how that is used.
Not sure what to think about the center drain and flipper setup yet.
I could do without the ice cream element too, but whatever. This looks really interesting so far.
Quoted from Black_Knight:This art package sux.
This is retro 50s atomic stuff.
We should have big torpedo bras everywhere!
Yeaaaah, I didn't want to say it, but this looks more a modern representation of 50's sci-fi, in the female form department.
Battle of Galactic Tanks VS. Fembot's was sorely missed here....

yeah, just sucks when the money starts aflowin', it just creates bias-brainwashing for the general public (this is everywhere in media, as we (should) all know).
Quoted from Dr-pin:should ofc get someone in marketing fired. If they even have anybody at marketing (doubtful)
Posts like these are nauseating. If this game looks interesting to you, buy it, if not, dont. No one gives a shit about marketing departments.

It's a very cool and normal thing to get 'really pissed' about a pinball company you have zero relationship with not revealing a game the way you'd like them to.
There’s a lot up the top half of the pf with 2 narrow shots to get up there. Not really feeling the layout on first impression. Gameplay would help.
I think they did miss the opportunity to make that entire tank and targets move back and forth across the pf in certain modes.
Quoted from Zablon:I think they did miss the opportunity to make that entire tank and targets move back and forth across the pf in certain modes.
Even if the targets lowered like AFM, just to open up the top half. Honestly, pop nests are useless at the best of times, but why have those in the game at all. Definitely need to see gameplay. Maybe the ship does something?
Quoted from theadicts77:It's a very cool and normal thing to get 'really pissed' about a pinball company you have zero relationship with not revealing a game the way you'd like them to.
Yea, you are right. I shouldnt give a shit.
Nobody should.
Correct. Buy the game or do not. All the speculation on the company dying because they can't sell games should have been dismissed by the video of the factory, if not before with a little thought.
I'm with you, i don't give a shit about their marketing, so long as i know the product is available when it's released.
In regard to marketing, and marketing departments, save the resources for catchy marketing, put x amount you saved in doing so into the games R&D and release a game that’s innovative, unique, and FUN to play. In this online social media day and age we as a group will be their marketing department - for free.
Quoted from Method_Own:Any chance there’s a third flipper hiding back there somewhere?
Zero chance.
Quoted from cooked71:Honestly, pop nests are useless at the best of times, but why have those in the game at all.
It's old thinking and this is an old layout. That doesn't make it bad, but nobody should look to this for a progressive way to play pinball.
The more I think about it the more healthy it feels though honestly. If we have 6 games coming out at once it doesn't mean they should all be competing for the same audience. Ideally everyone gets something for their tastes. There feels like room for simpler titles, as long as they have great packages. This is, so far, a great package.

If there is no marketing, you will not know that a products exists.
Quoted from cooked71:[quoted image]
Way better.
Apparantly someone woke up.
Better late then never.
Looks interesting.
Quoted from Dr-pin:If there is no marketing, you will not know that a products exists.
I didn’t say “no marketing”. Keep it simple, release some pics, bring the game out for people to play and the public will do a majority of the marketing for them via online social media.
Quoted from Dr-pin:If there is no marketing, you will not know that a products exists.
In correct. We knew it was about to exist before it was marketed. We knew all the ,machines before release.
I never thought i'd see people want to be marketed at. And want it so bad they get angry if they are not marketed at hard enough.
I love the nod to AFM.
'Hey! Would you look at the size of that cow!'
And I believe I’ll be in, really looks different on so many levels, and I’m all about standing out from the norm
Quoted from cooked71:Here’s a better pic. Actually the top pf is more open than I thought from the earlier pics. There’s 2 shots to the right - they look narrow though. And the middle target bank doesn’t look so big.[quoted image]
This looks great! I love the colors and the plastics down at the flipper lanes. Can't wait to play this game.

How did you know?
This whole thing screams 90s Bally Williams. This is what people have been asking for. The art is great. The theme is so out there and wonky its awesome. I love all the cows on the backglass and drain area on the playfield. I love that this is Dennis Nordman and they let him do what he wanted. The whole thing is great. I can't wait to see and play it at TPF and will be very interested in acquiring one.

That Saturn reminds me of the dead world in dredd.
At least we won’t hear any nonsense about not staying true to the theme on this pinball release, I think right?
