    Hey everyone-

I'm strongly considering a new cabinet for my Whirlwind restoration. Has anybody done business with Doug Huse lately? Or, can anyone provide a recommendation for a reliable cabinet manufacturer? I'm looking for something with decals applied, ground strap installed, ready to swap.

    Thanks

Call Doug, he has nice cabinets. I saw him a month ago.

I've posted trying to find someone who makes an as original cabinet - not an 'improved' or 'different' cabinet.

So far, I've had no luck. Anyone I've found takes liberties that it appears many people are comfortable with - but I'm not.

If you find anyone who makes as original cabinets - finished the same way originals are, same materials, same joints, all holes drilled, wood spacers/blocks/etc installed, etc - please post back here with more information!

What's different about Doug's cabinets? The CFTBL cab I brought a few years ago seemed identical to me.

The only thing I know Doug will not do is drill the third cabinet leg holes for games like TZ. Other than that, his cabinets are pretty much 100% to the originals. I highly recommend his work.

I've been toying with the idea of replacing my TZ cabinet too... Couldn't care less about the third hole.

My concern with Doug is I have heard he was having health problems and wasn't sure if he was making cabinets or not anymore. I'll drop him a line!
