Gray-red to L+
Jumper wire from L- to R+
Blk-gray to R-

I also tested the speakers on a 12v source and got a response so I know they are good.

EDIT: I got it going. You MUST keep the two gray wires on the left together. I had clipped them and then put heat shrink over them. Once I tied them together, everything worked.
