If so, what time did they take the stage? 9pm?
I have tickets for this week and it says 6pm start. I don't buy for a second that the opener is going on the stage at 6. How long did the opener play for?
Thanks!

They take the stage at my house around 9pm every night in my basement.

WVH was 6:44-7:35
GNR was 8:20-10:50ish
Original start time was 7:00 for the opening act. Got changed to 6:00 and then they didn't start until 6:44? Go figure?
Axl either had voice issues or they were having mic issues. The show could have and should have been much better. 1st time seeing them, bucket list item crossed off the list. I always have high expectations and was somewhat disappointed overall. I did look, and Axl is 59 years old, so I guess I can give him some more credit for going out and performing.
I'm surprised they played at Hershey again. I saw them there 30 years ago there with Skid Row as the opener - I thought both bands were banned because the Derry Twp. police got like 200+ noise/obscenity complaints from the community. Axl was late then, he'll probably be late now.
I think the whole going on late deal is over. I understand it was part of the contract to actually start on time and not be a dick, and it would be very costly for the band if they didn't comply.
I saw the 2016 tour and I thought Axl sounded better than he did in the 90's. Amazing show.
I have a single round trip airline credit I need to use from a cancelled Texas Pinball Festival. I was considering using it for a Guns show. Any suggestions for a cool destination that has tickets available? Bonus points if there is a cool pinball destination nearby.

Vegas on the 27th. GA Pit tix still available, and the PHOF is no farther than an errant Derek Carr toss from the stadium.

My first concert... good times!

Same! It’s been tough making time for the other machines around here since GNR arrived.
Quoted from pinzrfun:Guns and Bloated, from the last pic I saw of Axl...
Last pic? Just look at em on any of the JJP displays.
I'll be seeing them twice in the next month, on top of the 2 times I saw them on the early leg of the tour.
Just a kickass concert.
We saw them in Hershey. In the pit and right up against the stage. Weather was great as well. Unfortunately, Axl's voice is deteriorating to the point where he could barely sing for the last hour of the show - resulting in most of that time being spent on instrumentals. Still enjoyable and a great show. Maybe he was sick or something; not a good sign - with this being the first stop on their new tour. Note we saw them several times on the Not in This Lifetime tour - and on that tour they would play for three hours and 30+ songs. They are now down to two hours and only 20 now. Seeing them again in a few months; maybe they need to build their endurance back up.
I saw them at Fenway in Boston on Tuesday. I was able to get a single ticket last minute for short money. Everyone's first question is always "How was Axl?" I say he was 32% amazing, 32% decent, 32% awful and 4% just didn't sing. He was much better in 2016. It was weird, one tune would be awful and I'd think to myself, oh boy his voice is shot. Then he would crush the next tune. Overall great show. I didn't have the best seats, and Fenway doesn't have the best sound, but I'm glad I went.

They played it last night.

Worse thing I ever heard… wouldn’t walk across the street to see GNR,,, Pin isn’t bad, music

Then why join a forum discussion about their performance last weekend unless you stood across the street and listened?
Also note that a week or so before the Hershey show, a large number of tickets were still unsold and Ticketmaster cut the original prices almost in half.

Same thing happened to last night’s show.

I wouldn’t want to even get that close,,, game play is good ,, music is awful ,,,,
I get that GnR isn't everyone's cup of tea, but there is no denying their overwhelming success and popularity amongst the masses. If they don't blow the wind up your skirt, why bother to join a forum discussion over who went to see one of their recent shows. Even if it makes you feel good to let others know you aren't interested in the discussion, you have nothing of value to add here. But you already knew that. It's like when I go to a discussion about how to fix something on specific machine and someone like you is rambling about how one wouldn't have to fix that something on a different machine; who cares?
