just got a diner pinball game and very excited till the sound went out
i am new to pinside, someone said there are some smart people on this site who may know how to fix this problem
sound used to work fine then occationally the background music would fade out and then return with new ball, now the sound is completely off
when the game turns on there is no bong
i thought it was loose connectors on the soundboard but after reseating them all no change
i saw that it could be an amplifier? or could be wire that has solder joint that has come loose??
i see that 2 of the bottom screws are missing from the board so suspect maybe there was a problem with it in the past?

hey the other thing that is wrong is the select switch on the control panel inside the cabinet door will not allow me to select changes
do those switches wear out?
