Lately I have been totally obsessed with pinball. I have been a big fan of playing pinball since my college days, back when Earthshaker and Whirlwind were hitting the scene. But even before that time, I have been building models of all sorts. I first remember watching my older brother as a small child, turning a tree of plastics into a beautiful creation. Usually it was a plane model, and after they were meticulously built, he would hang them in fighting poses in my bedroom with fishing line. I used to stare up at the ceiling at night and imagine huge dogfights, buzzing around the room with guns blazing.
Today I looked over my collection of model kits and I thought it would be nice to connect with people with similar interests. I find it interesting that I love restoring pinball machines as much as I love building model kits. I get the same creative vibe and it is really satisfying to be able to create something with my own hands.
