Anyone making boxes to display translites?

    At one point there was a pinsider who was making Swap Boxes to display translites. I think that individual is no longer making them. Anyone else out there making these? I've got some translites that I'd love to display on the game room wall.

    That is a link to a previous post about "mini translites"
    I have made light boxes out of wood and think they come out nice.
    You just need some plastic from TAP Plastic store, a string of LED xmas lights, wood, corner braces

    I'm going to make a couple more mini lights, maybe I'll document it in a post.

    Here are a couple of lighted boxes my Dad and I built for display, as well as a few backglasses just mounted to the wall.

    The lighted ones are probably more complicated than they needed to be.......with a Radio Shack transformer and #47 lights, with flasher bulbs wired on a 2nd circuit. It works, and the effect is "authentic". I tried to wire them with a strand of Christmas bulbs, but just could not get the effect i was looking for....
