HI Guys,

Does anyone have a last action hero pinball?,
I recently got one and the crane is parked in the middle of the play field, when the crane is active it rotates to pick up the locked ball from the right side, but on the way back as it traverses it stops short of the left ramp by a few inches and stays parked in the middle?

anyone found a solution for this?

Thanks

Theres an allen key screw underneath the crane arm (top of playfield). Once you loosen, you can rotate or remove the top of the crane.

You can see it through a circular hole and need to poke your allen key in

Hi,
does anyone have a detailed with pics on this, I moved the crane, before it would park middle and when it moved to the right point and try to push past the yellow collection point.
now it moves from left to right short of both points and so the crane never hits either switch!!!

Thanks for any help

There are no pictures that will help you -- a picture with the crane parked in normal position and picture parked for ball pick up.

The crane motor always turns in the same direction. There is a cam on the motor that operates the crane in a 145 degree arc (per the manual.)

To adjust the crane, go into crane test. Manually operate the crane motor by pressing the start button. Apply just enough set screw pressure so the crane moves but will slip on the shaft when it hits a limit switch. You should be able to get it adjusted using this technique. The display will indicate limit switch actuation.

In the access hole on the side of the crane is a socket head set screw that requires an allen wrench to un-tighten and tighten. I don't recall the size, I think it's either a 5/32 or 9/64 wrench.

I came across this post tonight trying to fix this exact issue, and 8 years later it helped. I love Pinside and this community. Thank you.

For future reference. It is 9/64”

Thanks!
