Is anyone here into sim racing? I’m thinking of getting into it but don’t know long it will hold my attention. The two things I always loved growing up were pinball and driving games, and now even motion simulation rigs are $2500.

I don’t have room for a motion rig unless I sold my TAF, which would give me back the space and cash to do a full motion setup. Ideally I’d like both. Hard choices.

Thanks for sharing this. I have read some people can’t get used to the VR. What is your opinion of a VR setup vs. one of those 49” curved monitors?

What wheel and peddles do you have?

Do you find you race more or play pinball more?

DOFreality.com has a 3 axis platform/rig for under $2500.

You have to add a seat, and of course a driving wheel, pedals, possible a shifter, monitors and/or VR headset and a PC capable of driving the screens (motion doesn’t take much processing power).

I’ve never driven a race sim, but love racing games and want to get into it.
