Might make a cool virtual pin cabinet. Priced reasonably.

Nah man, don't really want edible pinball cabinets. Edible undies are where it's at.

I came across this old thread and looked at the ebdle cabinet. I've never seen a cabinet and stencil like the one pictured.

Look at how the lower back box is pointed and covers the E in eight ball.

Any one know if this is legit?

Never noticed a difference but I believe the new owner has started sanding it.

I hope he made his own stencils....the kits won't work on that cabinet.

Any idea if it was an early or late serial number?

Indy pinhead has one, but his does not look like that. The E isn't covered on his.

It will be painted different. His plan is a virtual pin. I will see if I can get the serial number.

I'll bet the serial number is very low. My LE is 432 and is conventional in its design. The cabinet you had, more resembles the Rapid Fire design. Not exactly the same, but is more similar.

I have never seen this documented anywhere. Interesting!rapid fire.jpg

Pity it is being destroyed for another virtual cab seeing how it is an oddity.

It was in very sad shape.

Any luck on the serial number? Everybody always says, they made the EBDLE because of the excess cabinets available from the rapid fire failure.

If your cabinet shows a first run LE (low number) with that shape of cabinet, a lot of the Bally manufacturing history can be documented and proven.

2472

#13 5 years ago

That doesn't make sense as they made a confirmed 2388.

Wow, that's a curve ball! I don't know what to make of it. I've looked at every possible image I can find of an LE and yours is the only one of that style.

Well, maybe someday another will pop up and we can compare serials now that this one was documented. Thank you for posting the number.

I'll take it if it also includes boards, playfield and backglass.

I know where there is a complete one for sale in WI.
