On lighter note they have a world famous Zoo, Art Museum is amazing and The libby glass museum is incredible.... If you like that kinda stuff once in a while.
Dr. Scotts Pinball is in Maumee just near the Turnpike exit. Easy to get to from anywhere. I grew up there but do not live there anymore.

+1 on Rudy's (multiple locations but the one by Mancy's is best). Also try Red Wells Roast Beef. Only one location these days. Closed for the Labor Day weekend though.
