Hello! A buddy of mine has an Uncle in Parma, OH who wants to sell a 1948 Moon Glow pinball machine. I don't know how much they want, but I get the sense it's mostly a "I want it out of the house" situation, so I imagine you'd get a good deal.

If you're interested, send me a PM & I'll put you in touch.

Thanks!

That's pretty nice looking! Wish I weren't 10 hours away.

You have to love those ancient 8" floor tiles. The paneling almost looks like knotty pine.

I was going to comment on the wood paneling myself. Looks like the same ash paneling in my den.

Hard to believe people rip that stuff out when these houses change hands.

No flippers, even though they were invented the year before

I would love to run out and grab that from him if he isn't in a huge rush to get it gone. I think my first window to make the drive would likely be the 18th or 19th of this month (weather permitting). If he needs it done sooner I might be able to adjust things with my schedule but after the 17th would work best for me. PM Sent!

No flippers?
An unfortunate "hold-over" from a by-gone era, I guess.
What will this fetch? What *should* it fetch?

yep, she has flippers, just not the conventional type.

they are just above the 'bonus' bumpers in the bottom left and right of this photo

I restored a 48 United Serenade with the same 'flipper' mechanism... surprisingly peppy compared to GTB and WMS games of the same era. Looks like a cool game. Has it been sold?

I email the OP yesterday and he said I was "second in line" if the first guy didn't end up taking it. I am not sure if I'll have time to make the drive to pick it up at this point but it looks like it is likely sold anyway.

man, like the dopey country song... I was almost persuaded! It looks in super nice shape. The artwork on United games from the late 40s is really underrated IMO. Not sure about Moonglow, but Serenade was an incredible playing game, relative to the time period.

Hey there! Got a moment?
