I have The Shadow and am considering adding an NVRAM because the batteries leaked and I need to replace the battery holder at the very least. Can anyone recommend someone local? Thanks so much!

Thanks @yfz450! I guess I need to figure out what I'm doing first. I was nervous about screwing something up with doing the NVRAM - I have heard things can get damaged? I think it needs to be soldered for The Shadow? I am still learning about it.
I could replace this battery holder, or can I find this board to be just swapped out with the holder already on it?

I guess if I order a different battery holder I could switch it on the board and that could be easy too?
Not sure if I should post on a different board about mods, or if you have suggestions? Or anyone else that sees this?
Actually that board doesn't look bad. Order a new battery holder from one of the usually places, pinball life or Marcos and I will replace it for you, no charge. Let me know.

I've got a spare you can have, just let me know.
What does the MPU board look like underneath where the holder was? Any damage?
yfz450 and mattmarr thanks so much for the help!
The mpu underneath seems fine since it was a separate board. Since I had cleaned the battery holder and the board is separate, I decided to try it out and see if it worked. It seems to work! I guess the worst case would be it could stop or make the batteries leak again?
So now I'm waiting on parts from Titan and PinballLife. A sling was broken and I decided to replace with two rubber bands until my parts come. At least I would know how to replace it when it came. I was just anxious to see how everything would work. First time a ball went near it, it went inside the rubber bands lol. Took it out and it worked for now but my one flipper rubber keeps coming off! Can't wait to get the parts!!
Now my battlefield isn't working so I need to research that!
Joe - mfz450 - is "one of the good guys". I bought one of my first machines from Joe and he and I have had several transactions over the 10 years I have been in the hobby. So don't be concerned about him as far as getting your board done right.
And if Joe happens to read this post see you and your wife at York in a few weeks! I'll likely be by myself this time because Wayne is headed on vacation that weekend and Barb will be home dog sitting their dog. They are not leaving until Saturday so I might try to talk Wayne (or Barb) into coming with me Friday but only time will tell.
