I posted an ad in Milwaukee specifically looking for a FT. It got flagged repeatedly but I kept posting. It did pay off... someone directed me to an op who had one on location. I picked it up for a fair price. I also was contacted by a few other people who had one but the prices were too high or the condition too nice.
So it worked for me but it was for a specific game and I had cash in hand.
