Quoted from Trekkie1978:

N64 is considered vintage???? Ugh. I must be ancient.
I grew up playing Atari and Colecovision before I got the NES for Christmas when it had come out.
Full disclosure, I am 41.

So am I, while everyone else my age was snowboarding and having orgys in a warm cabin somewhere in Lake Tahoe...I was owning all my nerd friends with oddjob on 007

Is this vintage enough? My friend and I played this everyday after school. Eventually it just wore out from all the use[quoted image]

I have some old floppy disks in the basement. I remember using them on an IBM PET back in the 70/80’s. Of course this is also when computer video games came on cassette tapes in the early 80’s.

I used to have a couple of those Slik Stik joysticks. Sure brings back a lot of memories. Pretty sure i used those with my Atari 2600. Wow, good 'ol days i guess. Don't remember them having Moon Patrol on the Commodore 64? Funny looking at those graphics for it compared to the arcade version

Quoted from lpeters82:

I also enjoy the Lolo series. For those not familiar, it's a puzzle game where you have to collect the hearts to open the treasure chest, which in turn, opens the door to proceed to the next level of the tower. Each level is a single screen. The levels start off really simple, but it gradually becomes more and more complex.
[quoted image]

You should've watched the AGDQ run of Lolo yesterday....

I have been playing consoles since PONG and I still play regularly on the Playstation 4. I used to work for Babbage's. I still have an Atari 2600, NES, PS1, PS2 and XBOX 360 with most of my games, but lost my SNES and SegaCD along the way. I also have a lineup of upright arcade cabs. I used to game on the PC too, but not much these days. I'm really surprised that everyone who's into pinball isn't also into video games to some degree, but at least around me there doesn't seem to be much overlap.

I've got a ton of retro games and systems. Recently sold a bunch since it mostly just sits there and takes up a ton of space. I move around a lot and this stuff is fragile with age so best to let it go to good homes. I have a complete excel spreadsheet with listings and prices if anyone is interested, lmk.

So N64 is vintage nowadays?

It is now. Kids who's first console was N64 are now in their 20s & 30s...it's their nostalgia. Just like like when NES kids grew up and wanted to collect their favorite games again, it's the N64 kids' turn.

Vectrex! I just traded all my boxed original vectrex games for a nice Gorgar. But still have my 2 consoles, accessories and homebrew games. And have all the parts to build a 19" arcade vectrex. Hopefully this summer.

Thing about nostalgia...it's just never quite as sweet the second time around.

I could have bought a WCS pin, but it will never be as awesome as it was when I played it at 2am in the downturn arcade after a night of college drinking.
