I have a number of proto and sample games. For the williams to be a real proto type the underside lamp boards have to be red, not green. Usually only done on the first 10-30 games or so. Many people think they have a proto, but it is actually a sample.
These games are only worth more to the right person, or if the proto had a great feature that was not on the production.
On CP, it’s such a low production game anyway. I am not aware of any differences of a proto, other than the red lamp boards under the playfield.
If you look at the serial number decal, the last 4 digits on this game will be the number it was built. I would think it would have to be a number under 30 for sure.
