    I am not experienced (much) with google sheets. I am trying to do this:

    If a series of cells on sheet 1 are blank, I want nothing to happen. If there is any text in any of those same cells, I want certain other cells to be transferred to another sheet. I THINK I should be able to do this with the "onEdit" feature but I don't know how to write the script specifically for my sheets and I don't know how to assign the onEdit script TO the sheet once it is done. (I may not even know what questions to ask, either. This is my first attempt at this type of function)

    Yeah, I know. It is a pinball forum. It is also the only forum I belong to and I thought it was worth a try.
