Quoted from MotorCityMatt:

I did put leds in the casino. Had 44 in there for a while. I like them.

Thanks MCM for confirming they're LEDs.

Clay, I did use the info email address and received no response, which is why I tried the other one. A simple, "sorry dude, haven't made that one before and I'm not doing it just for you" would suffice. With no response at all I can't be sure it actually got to anyone.

This is from the bgresto website "The advantage to this service is in the case of rare games. That is, we do “one off” restorations. " No you don't...
Granted, what I asked for isn't for a pinball machine but the process would be the same. Gary Conway has a reproduction glass for the game I have but I've seen you respond on other threads saying that your process is superior and produces a better glass. Based on other threads, it seemed that the price to have it done would be around what Gary charges so I figured I'd try to get the higher quality replacement. Apparently, you'd rather not have my business, and I'm ok with that.
Dave

Hey Dave,

I'm in Waterford - if you want to see an example of Gary Conway's work, I have a Spanish Eyes he did that you can look at. I've got an original that's in pretty poor condition, but can be used as a comparison. If BGResto won't get back to you or make one, at least you will have an idea of what to expect from Gary. I've used him a couple of times, and am happy with the results.

Here's my BGResto Time Fantasy backglass, backlit by #44 incandescents. If you click to view the image, you can see that the detail and color are very good.

Here's the same glass, lit by cool white LEDs. I plan to swap these out for warm white.

Thanks for the post(s). Looks very good. Now I just need to find someone with a Super Hockey backglass that is willing to send me pictures so I can get Steve (bgresto) to make me one!!!!

Let me just add that Gary is willing to ship you just the translite rolled up in a tube. That saves in shipping and glass cost and breakage potential. Gary does have a lot of Pitch and bat glasses that are basically ready to go.

You just need to head to Lowes and have them cut you two pieces of glass to make your sandwich.

As others have said once it is in the game it looks very professional.

Just wanted to share a picture of the Skill Roll glass I received from bgresto.

The color is actually brighter than it appears in the photo. I had a lot of outside light that makes it look a little faded.

communication is the easiest part of customer service. Especially with email. Just takes a min or so to write back to your customers and let them know how things are going. Lack of communication is just poor business in general.

Where is BGresto located?

Steve has done a great job on a Double Action and a World Fair for me. I am so grateful that he's willing to do this for the community. These new back glasses have made all the difference on my machines. Thanks for what you are doing Steve!

Where is BGresto located?

Somewhere in northern Oakland county in Michigan. I can't get more specific as I am sure Steve wouldn't like the location of the Resto-cave revealed .
Email him, if you order enough glass perhaps he would meet you somewhere for a pick up ??
Can't hurt to ask.

Been working with Steve on a new glass for my Algar. Sent an email friday and got a response Saturday and even gave me his number if I felt the need to call and get more info. His email was more than enough. I'd say that's great customer service in my book.

I want a BG from Stephen just been on the fence after reading some no contact reviews. I sent him the original email and got a response within a couple days. Sent him a follow up email and never got a response. What's the consensus? Is he coming through on orders? Just don't want to throw $300 away.

He always comes through. Remember, this is a side thing for him. He travels a lot for his day job. I travel a lot for mine but travels even more.

Steve has always come through for me and is fun to chat with. It takes time to get your Backglass, but when you do get it will be super nice. When i get some extra bucks I have another one I need done and bgresto.com will be the one to do it.

I'm patient at the time, since I have a lot of work yet to do on my Double Action, but I am interested in getting one made for mine. FYI sent an email inquiry last week and have not heard anything yet.
