Have you repinned all the connectors yet? Start there, that’s the best place to start with any sys1. I’ve owned a ton of them.

I’d you can afford it I would replace at a minimum the cpu board with a Pascal, those are the best. Ni-Wumpf second. Again I’ve owned them all. All in one from Pascal if you never want to worry about another board issue for the rest of your own life. However the stock power supply and driver boards are pretty robust overall.

I would say 90% of the sys1’s I’ve fixed have been by simply repinning all the connectors. Do that, then work on troubleshooting boards.

The connectors might look fine but I promise you they are not.

    Quoted from Doggy:

I think it’s something with the board. I put the board in another game and the problem followed,,

CPU or driver board? Driver board is very easy to repair, CPU less so.

Sinbad is one of the best if not the best Sys 1 game, it's a keeper, it's been in my collection longer than any other game i've ever owned. Mine is completely restored and looks like brand new. I'd strongly encourage you to get a Pascal P1-X4 board, the additional features bring the game up a bit (attract mode, some lighting features, some scoring change etc), the difference in playing a game with a Pascal CPU and the stock boards is night/day.

And you'll never have to deal with board issues again. I started out keeping a Pascal P1-X4 and moving it from game to game. Like i said you could just get the CPU board and save a little coin, but i liked the extra protection the all in one provides on the circuits.

    Just my .02

    Quoted from Mitch:

Does anyone else have tilt sensitivity issues with there Pascal all in one board. My joker poker does and so does my buddy pinball pool.

Never had any issues and I’ve used the boards in 5 or 6 games. I’m going to ask anyways you have adjusted the tilt bob right? It just makes a connection there really isn’t a sensitivity setting. It just grounds the connection.

^ This! I restored my Joker Poker last year and switched from a NiWumpf to the Pascal P1-X4. No regrets!

I restored a JP a couple years ago with a CPR playfield, turned out beautiful.. I’ll never do cabinet painting again though, that sucked....

Nice, LED displays too. I just put those in my Sinbad as 3 of my displays bit it finally. If I re-burned them they would fade out again in a few hours.

    Turned out great! Well done!
