I had this happen yesterday once but never thought twice about it, but today it did the same thing.
Ball 2 drained then the machine kind of "froze" then went blank and restarted.
I am running 1.23. As I type this I'm download 1.24.

Chances are it was the crystal ball disconnect issue. That is fixed in 1.24 we believe.

Thanks Pinchroma, I will keep my fingers crossed. 9 mins left to download.

I am sad to report, it did it again with ver. 1.24
The first time it did it I using 1.23, we were in the middle of a 2 player game and it just froze everything (you could see it was still powered on at the moment) then it restarted. I did notice once in a while the crystal ball would only show text.
The second time (still using 1.23) it just froze after the last ball drain on ball 3, then restarted.
This time, I just installed 1.24, we were playing our first game, we drained ball 3 on player 2, and it did the same.
We proceeded to play another game and this time we saw the crystal ball only displayed text a bunch of times.
Any ideas?

I see in another thread that the problem may have been resolved by reformatting their thumb drive (fat32) and reinstalling their os.
I know my thumb drive is formatted Fat32 but I will try downloading a fresh copy and reformatting my thumb drive as well.

I've seen this happen during league play on location and it just stayed powered on but the LCD went to a blue screen with a bit of code/text and then went to the attract mode. Is that also what's happening with yours? Not sure what the problem was or software but will check tomorrow...

I cant say I have seen any blue screen type of issue.
I am downloading 1.24 again and I'm going to try a fresh install.
My 2 cents is I think I have bad PC ram (I'm not sure if the crystal ball display uses the pc ram or not) or maybe even a weak PC power supply. Is it possible this latest update is drawing more power to light the LED's or bumpers etc?
Pinchroma, if I swap out this ram, will I be voiding my warranty in any way?

I would recommend opening a ticket and let JJP troubleshoot it and tell you what to do.

Perhaps the PC is crashing and rebooting.

If you have extra ddr3 ram sitting around swap it out and give it a shot. Can't hurt anything. If it's a bad stick which does happen I'll gladly get it swapped out for you.

Hi Alex,
So I reinstalled 1.24 and everything went smoothly. 22 games in everything was resolved. I just finished game 23, ball drained, witch flew on screen spelling game over then it froze and restarted.
I just got a 4gb stick DDR 3 tonight. I will get it installed and see how that goes.
I will let you know.

Yeah that's definitely hardware. Swap in that memory. If that resolves it I'll send you a new stick out ASAP.

I would have to check my error code table but yes our WOZLE has just reset while playing at least 3 times to us since the purchase. From what I recall it is the same error code however.
