Well at first both of the cats liked to get on top of the playfield and try and catch the balls mid-game. Finally got them to stop doing that so much, and now one of them sometimes gets onto her back legs and tries to bat at my hands while I play, and finally the cats developed a knack for hearing when a coin door was about to be opened. So much so that I have to shut the door to the arcade when I'm going to work on a game. Well, today I was preoccupied and forgot to shut the arcade door. I opened a coin door for a second to get the key to open up the backbox, unlocked backbox, replaced key, shut coin door... long story short, 20 minutes later I heard meowing and couldn't find the cat--- yep, shut inside the machine.

Both cats have had to be fished out of machines a couple of times before we realized that this was going to be an ongoing problem not solved by spray bottles (after they are pulled out of course). Apparently I'm a slow learner with this one. Luckily no damage has been done yet, and I think I have finally had the "close arcade door when working on machines" lesson drilled into my brain.

The main culprit also thinks she's a topper.

Thanks! Glad(?) to see it's not just mine. It seems like all of the loud noises would keep them away, but it doesn't seem to slow them down a bit.

Not just curious, but I think they like the heat too (at least on my old EMs! see my avatar)

Those little devils just love them

I think Gorgar is sending your cat messages about what to do and how to get you. That Gorgar is a slippery foe; you may think you've taken him down in the game but he will convince your cat to try and trip you while walking down your stairs. Then who won?

Don't scare the children! You'll give them nightmares.
Now wish some good karma on the nice pinball people and move along.

Twister The Kitty inspects Lord of the Rings. Cinnamon the Kitty (not pictured) prefers to sleep underneath my games more than getting up on them.

Karolina (Siberian) gets up on them from time to time. She doesn't mind the noises, but generally won't jump up on them when they're being played.

He is just like me I cannot help but to stop and stare at Liv. If there were ever a girl next door.

My cats love getting onto and into my games too. You might want to be careful with your cat getting inside a game. There's definitely a shock hazard there. I've taken to checking inside the game with a flashlight before shutting the coin door because they sometimes get in there without me noticing!

I guess I need to play my FP more often. This cat has been missing for 3 months! (This is a joke for all you members of PETA)

My cat looks exactly like above and I could have taken the same pic last week if my phone was nearby....except the machine was turned on! I really thought I was a about to have a dead cat and a dead machine.
