Totally agree about the fun factor of installing and freshly enjoying mods. Personally I think its a value you get when you buy a new toy for yourself, but do not expect to get that money back when selling the pin.

My guess is that we will not see abrupt changes in the pin market over the next few years. But over10/20 years price of A titles will drop quite a bit.
Also, I believe younger generations are partially entering the market, but I am not sure they will be willing to own 30/50 pins as now quite a few collectors do. I am 40, and for my generations and older pins were something only available in bars and public places. A pure and simple dream owning them at home!! So now we fullfill our wild dreams, and we secretly would lile to own them all (the good titles)!! Not sure younger generations - although enjoying playing - have the same amount of greed to pinball ownership.
