It's just the pre-holiday/spent my money at the shows calm down period. Been like this since I sold my first pin 15 years ago. Usually after Turkey day things start picking up pace, Prices start going crazy. Heck between now and T-day is the time I buy most of my pins and have got great deals. Even on Epay you can snag a few. And parts are dirt cheap. I remember several years ago. One seller was holding penny starting bids with no reserve on ebay. I put a bid of a buck on everything and lets just say I got two van loads for less then $10.00
But with as many pins coming out next year you can expect those over priced games to start coming down in a hurry.

    Quoted from daveispinball:

If I go to Vegas and lose some money (hope small) I chalk that up to 'entertainment.' As a result, if I lose $200, $400, I think I came out even. It was an experience like going to see a show.

I say the same thing about going to Hollywood Casino here in PA. $200 is my limit.

This EXACT post has been made dozens of times over the past 15 years I've been in the hobby. So far it's been pure bullshit.

This is true. I have also been in the hobby 15+ years. The economy doesn't really effect pins sales as much as people think. Just a small portion. The older gen getting out is the same thing. I personally bought out a couple of them and moved the pins to younger gens. The one and only true difference in the past 15 years that can cause a surplus of used games and prices to drop or flatline is several new companies that are actually producing and selling (several) new games a year. And I mean 3 or 4 companies producing 3 or 4 games a year.
