or lack of intelligence…

Or, you know, supply and demand 101.

Quoted from JosiahCox:

I got sick of all of this speculation and just said screw it. Got a 2 owner HUO in excellent condition for $5500 about a week ago. I was and still am a huge advocate for this game to be a VE release because it really is an excellent table. I just couldn't justify setting around hoping that my favorite game MIGHT be re run when I could buy a nice one now for what I am guessing will be similar money to a VE.
LOTR VE may or may not happen. Even if it does the asking price is surely going to be around the same price as a nice original LOTR. So my advice, if you really want the game, go find one that has been treated well and buy it. You will be playing the bejesus out of yours while everyone else sits and hopes and trust me, that feels real good.
Hope all you guys wanting this to happen get your wish. Cheers!

I tend to agree this should be the route anyone goes if that want a LOTR terribly.

I'm not itching for one. I like the game. I'd love to have it in my collection, but I'm not actively looking to pick it up. If a VE were to drop, that might be what would push me over the edge.

Quoted from spfxted:

Didn't they make Metallica, Mustang and Walking Dead this year? (and MMr)

Let me think here.

They did Mustang, Walking Dead, Iron Man:VE, MMr and little stuff with metallica like they did the Dirty Donnie Metallica which was essentially just custom toys and upgraded the Metallica pros to LEDs. Oh they also added a swinging bell and LEDs to pro AC/DC.

Edit: Beat by a couple people by a few minutes.
