They were doing Trons 100 at a time, so why not 200 LOTRs? This seems to be with the new Stern M.O., which is efficient productions and multiple titles at the same time.
Some of these boutiques who want to run 100 of a game should really talk to Stern, they seem geared up to handle a job like that.
Look at all the tolkien/middle earth video games that come out. There is no way renewing a license for an existing and previously approved game would be the show stopper. It's basically just a matter of cutting a check. Even $50 or $100k would be nothing when there are a couple million bucks to be made running 300-400 games.

Anyways, Stern already likes to use the concept of "limited" as a marketing tool.
You probably gave the most clear-cut explanation for high pin prices. Why flood the market and consume all that space with cheaper machines?
