I traded all my older pins except for my creature. Now I own Stern, JJ, and Spooky. To be honest I was spending as much money in pin repairs on the older ones as I do buying NIB.
There are issues with NIB pins... but most are fixable without knowledge in electronics. I don't miss working on b/w pins or seeing them down for weeks until I could get someone to work on a circuit board.
Does repair costs factor into this decision process?
