So i was installing a new X-Pin display in into my F-14 this weekend and decided to make a "light box" behind the "williams" logo under the displays with some warm white LED strips, some aluminum flashing and weatherstripping. I tied them into the coin chute lights so it'd be on all the time, even when the GI turns off. I'm pretty happy with it, it's not as blotchy in person as it looks in the pic. Anyone else mess with this before? And if so post up some pics!

Thanks! I know the early production F-14s have spots or twist in 555 bulbs on the bottom of the display, but it was never populated. I wonder if they scrapped the idea to illuminate this area for some reason.
