I've got some autographs from celebrities myself. My Sttng translite was signed by Marina Sirtis a couple years back.
Sorry I missed your post Ted. Interested in seeing any video collection you have of your movies. I got addicted to buying blu Ray steel cases.
Quoted from hAbO:Where did you get the Frankenlamp Ted?
Get Clay by Dan ...tell him Ted sent ya and you want to commission a piece....
Anyone got any Harry Dean Stanton stuff?
He just passed away of natural causes at age 91.

Repo Man is definitely one of my favorite movies.

Quoted from hAbO:Very nice! Next year is the 50th Anniversary of Night of the Living Dead.
Yes. Thinking of going to the con in PA either this year or next. Anyone been?
Quoted from spfxted:You mean collection of VHS, DVD, Laser Disc, Blu-Ray collection? Or movie poster collection? Or model kits? Or paintings?
Do you have any Fireball XL5 stuff?I had all the toys when I was a kid.Loved that show.
I am trying to revive this thread...I hope it works. I have a few items to share (ironically, someone asked about Harry Dean Stanton stuff and I have a piece coming specific to him but it's not in my hands yet). Here is what I do have...
Ghostbusters
Production made Stay Puft Marshmallow Man costume head (originally intended to be used during the crossing the streams shot but scrapped due to the crew feeling it was a bit too scary from what I understand)
-----------------------------------
Ghostbusters II
Screen worn Ray Stantz flight suit
Tripod Traps as seen in the jewelry store bust scene (these were also used in an episode of Sea Quest and Star Trek)
Actual hot beverage thermal mug and free balloons (for the kids) as seen during the montage commercial being held by Harold Ramis
Statue of Liberty torch lamp that can be seen in Peter Venkman's apartment (obtained from the producer of the film)
-----------------------------------
Kingpin
Ernie McCracken's iconic final showdown outfit (shirt, pants, robe, two scarves/sashes, shoes, and back support)
-----------------------------------
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
Rick Moranis's screen worn custom Cal Tech hooded sweatshirt (autographed by him inside)
-----------------------------------
Police Academy
Screen worn Moses Hightower shirt and tie (worn in multiple films - most uniforms were)

Worked a theatre in high school, then other theatres..then owned 3 theatres for about 10 years and closed them , always kept all the posters..never hung..most mint.. periodically studios would send the theater owners gifts..Spiderman letters and certificates from when it came out in 2001 or 2002, replica ring from lord of the rings, banners, swag, etc..film cells...etc..and I have tons of never used trailers for movies from the 80's ..maybe I'll sell some stuff..or split into film cells..who needs weekend at Bernie's scenes!
IMAG3494.jpgNot exactly movie props but I am starting to collect life size figures. My son wants a ninja turtle next.
I would love an R2D2 and a Storm Trooper to go with my battle pod. Maybe in the future.

I'm relegated to cheap replicas to include in my pop culture collection. exhibits attached: McLovin fake I'd from "Superbad" and The Handbook for the Recently Deceased from "Beetlejuice". These can be had for cheap on eBay and/or our Capitalist overlord Amazon.

I'll check it out. Thanks!
I have inherited a pretty awesome prop from the show 'Big Love' from my buddy at work, who happens to be Amanda Seyfried's father. I'm just debating if I should post it, because it's a little disturbing to some, haha.
You asked for it...
Harry Dean Stanton (a legend...played Brett in Alien along with so many other roles) played Roman Grant, the main antagonist who I guess was essentially a self-proclaimed prophet. Anyway, he gets murdered in season 4 I believe, and his body is cut up and hidden in a freezer. I was gifted his corpse's head. It is remarkably detailed...looks like the real thing in every way. If I had been pulled over by the cops with this thing in my car, they would have had me down on the ground at gunpoint.
Wow, that is well done. Makes me think of Brain, the role he played in Escape from New York. Adrienne Barbeau, who was also in the movie, will be at the Monroeville Mall (Dawn of the Dead) for a Creepshow reunion in about a week.
That's pretty cool! Loved everything he did.

Anyone have $32K they'd be willing to loan me?

I bid on a pulse rifle last year before it went for ridiculous money. I am actually helping restore one of the real smartguns to its glory...it is such an honor!

You can make your own but the real one makes me cream myself:
I build and customize Blade Runner blasters as well as Logan’s Run Deep Sleep guns. Some kits, some all originals. Working on some Firefly stuff currently.

For $32k does it throw real flames? It better.

A lightsaber from Star Wars will routinely sell for $200,000 or more at auction. 32 grand is actually a steal for that prop. I have seen props sell for millions...where people get such money is beyond me, but good for them!
For those interested, I'll be hosting a special film memorabilia exhibit in Saratoga Springs, NY on August 9 & 10 at the Saratoga Pinball & Arcade Show.
The exhibit will include various original costumes and props from:
Once Upon a Time
Stargate
Ender’s Game
Chronicles of Riddick
Electric Dreams
Dune & Children of Dune Mini-Series
Divergent
Colony
Passengers
And more!
Many of the items on display will also be for sale.
If you would like to display and/or sell costumes or props at the show, here is the registration page: https://pinballsaratoga.com/film-memorabilia-exhibit/film-memorabilia-registration/

IMG-5936 (resized).JPGIMG-5937 (resized).JPGIMG-5938 (resized).JPGIMG-5939 (resized).JPGThe actor Stephen Thorne has died at the age of 84.
In the 1970s Stephen Thorne created three of the greatest adversaries of the Doctor, characters whose influence endures in the programme today.
His towering presence and deep melodious voice were first witnessed in the 1971 story The Dæmons, where he portrayed Azal, the last living Dæmon on Earth, in a story often cited as one of the most appreciated of the third Doctor's era and story emblematic of the close-knit UNIT team of the time.
He returned to the series in 1972 playing Omega, the renegade Time Lord fighting The Three Doctors, a character that would return to confront the Doctor in later years. In 1976 he opposed the Fourth Doctor playing the male form of Eldred, last of the Kastrians in the story The Hand of Fear
