Records are a nice change from CD or hires...you're more involved with them. Cleaning, flipping, moving the arm, checking out the great artwork...even hunting for music you'd never have found before is fun (some cannot be found on CD either).
I remember finding a Journey 'Captured Live' album (1 of 2 LP) tucked inside an Earth, Wind, & Fire album...which was great as that Live album is fantastic!

Can get to be a VERY expensive hobby though.

Furutech makes a record flattener for about $2500...I can't imagine why it costs so damn much. Best situation is to know someone who already has one and get in line...I think it takes about 4 hours per.
