Got a little crazy and by 2015 had around 6,000 to 7,000 lps. Just sold the entire collection (save about 200 or so). Kept my JA Michell table. Still love vinyl.

Quoted from Chisox:

I'm a Marantz/McIntosh/Dali guy.

Even nicer gear! Unfortunately my hearing is going or i would be continuing my lifelong quest for sound perfection ... an expensive mission to be sure.

My faves are my Michell Gyrodec and my Mordaunt Short Performance 880's that I bought as demos out of Sony Music Studios in NYC

The mono amps are packed up at the moment.

Quoted from Redketchup:

I just coming back to vinyl this year... I bought a sony 7055, speaker are kenwood LS408A cand the wonderfull technics SL-1200 MK3.
Really happy with my new setup

Very cool! My first "high end" speakers were Kenwood LS408B's. I worked in the fields all summer baling hay to earn enough to buy them. Ordered them from Wisconsin Discountil Stereo and freighted them to upstate NY. Never forget the look on my Dad's face when the tractor trailer pulled into the driveway. They were big, well made and sounded darn good for the money. 10 systems and $100 grand later, I still miss that sound!tim054 (resized).jpgtim054 (resized).jpg
