Quoted from Fulltilt:I just run the Discwasher around the album every time I play it.
Grab a beer or 3 and listen to the music.
I'm anal about it because good carts / styli aren't cheap and the only thing that extends their life is clean LPs.

I didn’t think they were putting that album out on vinyl. How is the pressing?

Quoted from guitarded:That has to be Black Market, no? Haven't seen a thing about Official Repease of this on LP yet.
Yeah, not legit... I was up playing pinball at Rock Fantasy this weekend and couldn't just leave it on the shelf. Squeezed it on to 2 LPs but I expect the actual release to be on 3 or 4 - and probably cost twice as much. Sounds pretty good to me but my ears have taken a pretty good beating over the years so YMMV.
Quoted from emkay:Yeah, not legit..
Thanks. That was what I figured, but most of the ones I have seen have a different cover...got a little excited there.
I have been patiently waiting on the Vinyl release. Haven't even heard the new album yet. At this point, I refuse to give in until I get an official pressing.

If being a Tool fan doesn't teach you patience, nothing will.

No shit. (And I know Adam!)
I give him loads of shit for that kind of thing.
Quoted from Fulltilt:Forgot I even had this one.
Buzzed with Fifteen.
[quoted image]
I think that album is called Buzz. I saw Fifteen a few times in the 90s, great I think East Bay pop punk. Cool to have a test pressing!

It was an adjective not connected to the album. (;

Ah, ha ha ha! They do have an album called Buzz. I remember seeing Crimpshrine (same singer, Jeff Ott) at a party where he spit on the ceiling, then caught it in his mouth when it dripped down. Rapped with Aaron Cometbus (longtime zinester) there and Courtney Love was also there. Good times, before Seattle's music scene blew up too big.

Yes, this was Buzz. I thought it was great! Only album I've heard from these guys.
Quoted from nwpinball:I just bought 5 still sealed copies of the 1979 debut album by the Surf Punks from the estate of Dennis Dragon. It's probably going to take me years to resell 4 of these, but still pretty stoked...[quoted image]
I might be interested in one
Quoted from Rascal_H:Some pinball work with my favorite Beck album.

That was my thought, as well.
Give me Midnite Vultures.

Well, current favorite. Lol. Seems to change with my mood.

I'm still a Melo Gold man myself although I love all his crazy early stuff too, Western Harvest Field by Moonlight, Golden Feelings, etc.
... Like this stuff ...

Nice! I never see anything but the occasional decent (festroyed) Jazz LP in the local Goodwill LP Bin.
I drop some decent stuff off there, from tome to time, but have never seen any of my LPs still there when I look.

My area has started opening Goodwill Bookstores, all media donations go to those locations and they get picked over crazy fast - cant find any LP's anymore.
Glad you did.
Quoted from chubtoad13:Nice Goodwill finds last night. Actually they’re the best finds I’ve ever had there. The SRV album had a newspaper clipping from the helicopter crash that took his life inside.[quoted image][quoted image]
That clipping is super cool to find in there. A SRV lp at goodwill alone is a surprise!
Just bought 2112 40th anniversary edition and gave it a listen. r.i.p. Neil. I have double trouble now i need to spin it. Cool find.
Quoted from Fulltilt:Sometime you are able to pickup that one album. $3. Damn right.
Shouldn't that have only cost a nickel?
Quoted from littlecammi:Shouldn't that have only cost a nickel?
Back in the day maybe.

Freddie Hubbard was very good. this double album is nice!
Can't go wrong with Dizzy, Red vinyl too.
Freddie Hubbard is great. I always grab his records when I see em.
Grabbed the last of the Beastie Boys recent Color Reissues today.
They finally found there way to my local shop and since I asked them to order some, I didn't want to grab one off the net.
I also grabbed the 'Start Your Ear Off Right' Edition of The Replacements - Pleased to Meet Me on Blue Vinyl while I was there.

Looks like the mushrooms are finally kicking in on that second picture Don.

Quick hit of Nitrous and that picture snaps right into focus.
