Quoted from 72Devilz:

if I were to explain Tomita’s music to somebody who’s never heard his music I’d have to say it’s best summed up as a sonic representation of

You misspelled DMT.

Great album. The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld was clearly inspired by it and that's been in my top 5 since the 90's. I'll have to keep an eye out for it on vinyl.

When I’m not busy working on or playing some pinball, just a few favorites. Only 25 more versions of Synchronicity to go...... ;p[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Those Dead Milkman and Suicidal albums came out when I was in highschool and I played them so damn much! Both bands are great live. Saw Suicidal at Punk Rock Bowling 2 years ago on the main stage and they still totally owned it.

I just picked up that same David Bowie album from Amazon last week! This week I preordered QOTSA Songs for the Deaf, double vinyl.

Thank you Half Price Books two new finds. Had no idea the Otis Redding Jimi Hendrix album was out there. Going to be a good night of music listing and pinball.

Mine too, you have excellent taste. Here’s one I’ve had on CD forever but just bought on vinyl. Perfect pressing, dead quiet.

So sad for the loss of Paul Barrere.

Let’s play The Last Record Album for the honor.

Did you see Duclaw has a Strawberry Letter 23 out? It's on the sour end but very tasty.

Grew up with this one, my Dad used to play it I was happy to inherit it. Sammy's version of Me. Bojangles is a favorite.

Sometimes after a long week you need to chill with a glass of brown liquor and a pretty girl, and this is a good one to chill with. Well recorded and pressed too.

Lowell George, William Payne, Sam Clayton, Paul Barrere all along... great album IMO. Good with a little of that brown liquor reserve... GTS '18 to be specific.

I like your posts (and a lot of others ie. Fulltilt) because you guys post stuff I’ve never heard and most of the time it’s really good shit. I just looked this one up and saw 1972 funk album and I’m in. Y’all got good taste. Thanks guys.

In the meantime I’m gonna listen to one of my favorite bands, the Spoons. We all (10 of us) went down to Austin for my 50th a couple weeks ago and were at a bar and grill and Britt Daniel (singer/guitar player from Spoon) was at a hi-top next to us. I’m not a star-struck kinda guy but it was pretty cool. He was there with his wife etc. and I wasn’t going to bother him (unlike a couple of other fans, but he was very cordial and cool). Who sees somebody famous with their family and asks to take a selfie with them? Idiots.

Spoon are a great band.

The Spoons are an equally great but unheralded band from my birthplace of Burlington, Ontario , Canada. One several of their platters. Recommended if you like your 80s synth

Haha no shit? I’ll check them out as I do like 80’s synth. I know they’re just Spoon by the way, just being silly.

Best LP out this year. Haven't heard anything that comes close, either.

Though, the Sure Fire Soul Ensemble "Build Bridges" is a tasty little Coke Bottle Colored Treat.

Generally their pressings are Very Good to Fantastic. Also, incredible customer service.

If you have any issues; Shipping Damage, Pressing Flaws, etc. they take care of it quickly with zero to no hassle.

Their Anthology Sets have been awesome, so far.

Every time I play my stereo at night my neighbor thinks he should call the Police.
