The new Elvis Live in 1969 is incredible if you haven't heard. I’ve only streamed it ( I know I know! but the vinyl is $89).

Just checking Amazon out, seems there is a 10 cd set and a smaller two lp set. Completely missed this release, can't wait to order and give it a listen. thanks.
There’s a lot of Elvis telling stories between songs which is awesome the first few times you hear it (because it’s Elvis frickin’ Presley!) but after 10 listens you kinda just want to hear the tunes. That’s my only gripe because the the band is white hot and the set list is off the charts.
Quoted from Fulltilt:Most amazing bass riffs ever..

Son of a...there was a vinyl option for that concert to go along with the 11 cd set or whatever it is. It was a double 180g album for $89. I wouldn’t buy any of the others linked to live Elvis ‘69 because there’s so many bogus shit pressings of Elvis’ stuff out there. Discogs might be our best bet.

I picked up the August 26. For $22 you can't go wrong.
But the August 23rd album sure has positive comments!

Have you watched the Jaco documentary? Have we talked about his before? Either way, it’s really frickin’ sad. What a talent.

No I haven't seen it.
His ending was terribly sad for such a great musician.
I assume it might be this one?
Enjoying some Sacred Paws on beautiful translucent green vinyl this morning.
Female Scottish indie pop w/ beautiful horns.

No football needed for Hank Sr or Jr!

I only recently got the Joni Mitchell Shadows and Light DVD and watched "Jaco's Solo". Pretty incredible. I wish that one had been included on the LP.
Quoted from Waderade812:I may make one of these. That's pretty fricking sweet.
I have one extra if I could figure out shipping.
They came in a 3 pack.
Quoted from Fulltilt:Elvis is in the house.

Is that from the Rod Stewart album? Not familiar with it but love the pictures.
Quoted from emkay:And just like pins, the vinyl seems to multiply quickly. When I first came across this thread I had a dusty turntable in the basement and maybe two dozen records, tops. Lightning had blown up our TV and my wife suggested not replacing it... so out came an amplifier and speakers and the fun began.
I was rearranging furniture the other day and realized I've bought another couple hundred since then. Not complaining though, it has re-ignited my love of listening to music that had gotten tarnished over the years by all the MP3 and streaming options... I used to never put a cassette away until I'd played through the whole thing and had forgotten how much more I enjoy getting into a whole album rather than just a couple random songs. For that, I thank you guys.
