I'm a huge Anthrax fan, I hope they release a retail version and it's not limited because I would love one of those.

Look what I found while on holiday in Portugal.
I had to pay a lot for it though.
Now I just want to go home to listen

Browsing the antique mall today. How appropriate for the anniversary of the moon landing. (:

I’ve never heard of this guy but after doing a little Googling I’m really intrigued.

Found some great stuff over the weekend (40+ records for .50 cents each). Lots of grunge and indie rock DIY released from late 80's and 90's. I am going to review all of them and post my favorites here. Pictured are the earliest ones in the lot. Truly is a great Seatle band that never got much credit for being great.

Quoted from Fulltilt:

A nice AR XA for the price.

What’s going price for AR XA good condition?
With no issues?

Quoted from Madmax541:

"No Issues" might be a key word and depend on how strict you are to that.
The XA was first issued, I think, in 1961.

I'm thinking a good price on a nice working example that doesn't require immediate attention might be around $300.
Remember that a vintage piece working today might not be working tonight.

That happened with my Linn turntable. Working great for a few months after I bought it. Then quickly developed speed problems and eventually quit altogether. It was a power supply failure. Upgraded the power supply and it's better than ever.

I threw away my wife’s vinyl collection

Had some water damage inside house and found mold growing in a closet where a damp box of records sat. In haste I wrapped box in plastic bag and threw it away. When my wife arrived in town and discovered this on her own, she was mad at me. We don’t own a record player and haven’t listened to those records in 27 years.

Box held 40 records with stuff like Elvis Costello and REM and Shade. It was worth something to the old lady, but worth less to me. Haha, worthless !!

edit - My vinyl collection was safely in another closet. It contains: Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Outlaws, Journey, Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd, Santana, Genesis, Cream, Doors, Hendrix, Talking Heads, U2, Police, Public Enenmy, Run DMC, Black Sabbath, Bob Dylan and Beatles.

What's really cool is that the cuts on the album run through as in the concert. Conversations, miscellaneous sounds and all. Really seems to give that concert feel to the record.

Have you guys ever heard about free little libraries? It’s when you put a mailbox at the end of your lane filled with book the swap and share in your neighborhood.

Well a guy in the next town over has started one with vinyl. Take a record, leave a record

That’s awesome! My wife has been asking me to put a free library box in our yard. This sounds way more fun.

Great stuff when the weather cooperates. I notice he has a nice cool puff jacket on.
Not going to work so well here with 90 deg sunny days unless you like floppy vinyl! (:

I remember as a teen leaving my records on the parcel shelf in the back seat of the car when we went to the beach.... nuff said.

We have several of the mini libraries in our neighborhood, I think 3 within casual walking distance. LP exchange would be insanely cool!

Can't go wrong with Dick's Picks. I just wasn't aware they were also pressed on vinyl. Those can't be cheap.

Threw about 225 50s-60s 45s on FB marketplace for $55.

Idk that there are many super hot songs in mix, but mostly doo-wop or pop albums in the mix. all in sleeves (mostly original sleeves)and pretty nice shape.

Anybody local has an interest in picking up, feel free to make an offer.

Pic of some of them.

Looking to sell box, not cherry pick.

I have SOOO many more....just haven't gotten to them in forever.

I really hope they release a retail version of this. If anyone snagged one and doesn't care for it I'd gladly pay!
