Quoted from ralphs007:Long story short. I'm planning on moving and I'm decluttering my house.I told my wife I'm not taking this junk and storing it in the new house.I came across a bunch of Lp albums from the 70/80's.
Is it worth my time to take them somewhere and sell them? If they're only worth a dollar a piece,I'll just toss them in the trash.
You could sell the lot on Facebook or Craigslist real cheap.
Or donate them to a Salvation Army Store.
Don't throw them away. Remember people use to treat pinball and arcade games like that. Now look at us now. Pass them on to the person that can discover the rich and full warm sounds vinyl has to offer.
Quoted from waldo34:Fun Friday music.

How do like the album?

Love it, 1992 right before grunge hit a lot of my favorite music came out around then.
Probably why I like these guys so much, they have that vibe.

That’s what I’ve been doing and thinking the same !

I didn't know this was available on vinyl. You just cost me some money! I saw these guys at the Viper Room when the were Metal Skool, I've been a big fan ever since. I try and see them every time they come around, always a great show.
Quoted from Jam_Burglar:Before they signed
Seeing that I can't help but think of the Kill Bill soundtrack. RZA did some great stuff and that was one of them.
Quoted from Rascal_H:Brimfield Antiques Fair here in MA had records galore. Bought a couple Monkees, Berlin, Stones, and Best Little Whorehouse in Texas lol

Oh, I like those Wild Things figures! They'd look too cool posed together, dancing around.
Forgot to post that after The Thought, I played this album. 1978 Karen Lawrence is SO UNDERRATED.

Coolest part is that I had no idea what this even was before I bought it a few years ago and I never would have even known it existed unless I saw it in the $1 record bin.
I may have found an old Technics 1200 turntable. It looks well used from a DJ setup. I’m wondering if it’s worth the hassle of cleaning it up, new cartridge, etc. What do these normally go for? I know at one point it was the go-to turntable. Would it be an improvement in this system?
Current setup
Audio Technica LP-120 with preamp removal mod and Ortofon 2M Red Cartridge
Klipsch Reference towers
Yamaha TSR-7810
Hagerman Bugle 2 preamp.

Turned out to be a 220, not a 1200. Oh well.

20 feet up and Townshend was windmilling all night. Good shit.

Smash any guitars? Maybe he's become a little more conservative.
