NEVER!
I know it's OT here, but anyone who loves that album, needs the David Gilmour bluray from Royal Albert Hall.

Who here has decoded the writing on this LP jacket?!
No cheating!! Lol.
I think I still have it written on a paper in mine, but I don't recall off hand.

This group is good. There is the top of a speaker seen in the pic.
Anyone that can name the speaker I'll send a very nice copy of Springsteen's Born to Run album. (:

I once decoded the script on the inner sleeve of Diary of a Madman, so I'll assume it's the same script. I'll have to check it out!

No but a good guess. Similar shape but these were rounded and a good bit taller (floor standing).

Are they DCM speakers? I think they had a model called Timewindow.

They could handle tons of power. Hope you can use a Born to Run album.
Yeah! Totally cool, or circa late 60's I would say...that's boss!
I had a gf years ago that skipped our dinner date. Next day I asked where she was and she said she got invited to a Springsteen concert (with some guy of course). I said WTF? Her reply was...."hey, it was a Springsteen concert. How could I pass that up?" We didn't date too much longer after that.

Smart girl. (:
You can't get much better than Springsteen and Clarence Clemons.

I just noticed in the background of the DCM speakers were some ADVENT loudspeakers....the smaller models. I had a pair of ADVENT's I used for many years in the 70's. They were ok...all I could afford back then. I'm running B&W's now. Way better.

I used some small Advents for the rear stage in my Carver “sonic holography” setup. They worked nice.
Quoted from Chitownpinball:Alright ive been slacking. These have been my new pick ups lately.
Which reminds me, they're re-issuing the first five King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard albums - 5000 of each in colored vinyl. They were supposed to go on sale last night but Flightless' website melted down when fans refreshed it to death. I'm still on the fence, shit adds up fast! $40/ea plus shipping from Australia, and might as well grab some ORB and Babe Rainbow records while I'm at it...
I’ll tell you what @fulltilt, your collection goes A-Z and back a few times. I thought I had eclectic tastes..well done.

I have a buddy looking for a setup and this would be perfect. Code doesn't work, must be expired.
Edit: Just read that you said 12 hours left, my bad.

I'm thinking of investing in a record cleaner.
What do you guys use, and what are your thoughts and comments on them?
Thanks!
Eric

It’s worked great for 45 years and going strong.

Same here!
IMG_8841 (resized).JPGYeah..I have one of those too, and it works great after many years.
I was looking for something that worked on the dirty second hand records, that I am buying now.
I saw an ultrasonic unit last weekend, but it was close to $5000!!!!!
Found some on Amazon that were more in my price range. Around $79.00.
I was wondering how well units like this worked.
