Thank you, been looking for exactly this.
Quoted from bob_e:He still does shows! at 73 years old!
Got the full story, apparently my wife had her tits out on stage at one of his shows fifteen years ago (underage). The second time she saw him, he kissed her bare ass while she mooned the crowd. In this photo, he's trying to stick his finger in her ass but failed to negotiate her jeans/t-shirt/underwear configuration. He's still a dirty old man for sure.

Looks like insound.com has 50% of colored vinyl and free ship over 25.
I spent quite a bit last time they did this.
Ends 6/24
Edit: looks like most of the records are on sale but the selection is not as good as previous sales.

Quoted from JethroP:Got a new turntable! Waiting for the cartridge and cables so I can start playing my old vinyl!
Is that platter acrylic or other material?
Quoted from Fulltilt:Is that platter acrylic or other material?
Acrylic, about 1-1/2" think. Heavy! I guess that reduces the wow and flutter.
Quoted from Chisox:First course.
Ahhh, the good old days when the classic rock stations would play "Waitin' for the Bus" right into "Jesus Just Left Chicago"
Quoted from 30FathomDave:The new NIN album, Bad Witch, sounds fantastic.
I like it.... Pinside Vinyl Bandito Photo Collection.
Quoted from Chisox:Record cleaner is a must. All new vinyl gets a pass or two on this before playing.
It definitely makes a pretty big difference and noticeable improvement when you wet clean your vinyl, even new pressings. I use the Okki Nokki and really like it.

Just looked up the Okki Nokki, that thing sounds like DaBomb of cleaners.

It's a pretty basic concept, and kind of expensive, but it gets the job done. Of course if your records have deep scratches or warps it won't fix those issues lol!
Quoted from Fulltilt:Almost forgot how great this was. We will rock you!
Rock on Wayne.. Rock on Garth!Great great bass..
Great album!
Had to post this Family Guy reference:
If anyone is interested I have these for sale. They are B&W 805 matrix speakers. I just don't use them but they sound fantastic. Not sure on price though but it could be worked out.
This is a photo I found online. If someone would like me to post real photos of them let me know or pm me and I'll get them on the thread.

Quoted from JethroP:You can get anything you want...exceptin' Alice.
Did you ever see the thanksgiving 2015 PBS special? That was neat. Arlo doing a 50th anniversary special concert including talking about and singing Alice's Restaurant.

No, never saw that. Wish I did. But I did see the movie Alice's Restaurant many, many years ago....and a few years ago listened to his remake of the song. Pretty funny in his remake song with reference to the 18 minute gap on the Nixon tapes!
Quoted from scampcamp:I've read many good things about Bohren & der Club of Gore Album called Sunset Mission. I'm pretty sure they're from Germany.
I ordered it from amoeba and it should be here by Thursday. Kind of a slow jazz vibe to it.
Black Earth is my favorite release by them. They are German and have a similar vibe to Angelo Badalamenti's score for Twin Peaks. People sometimes refer to the subgenre as dark jazz or doom jazz.

Oh Snap! I picked up some of their records while I was in Hawaii.

A few years ago he did a concert at a Casino, in Mt. Pleasant. Hr stated he was NOT going to do Alice's Restaurant because he want his kids to get more stage time playing their new material. So I passed on going, and a 2 hour drive.

He should have just made the concert 18 minutes longer

I saw Meg Myers open for Royal Blood a few years back. She's awesome, and I dig that album. If I'm not mistaken, she's got a new album coming out this year.

A friend just saw her a few weeks ago and said the same. So a group of us bought a box at the house of blues for her show later this year.
