I would have sworn it was a Disney Mickey player!
Are those 2 round speakers attached?
I'd love one of those.

Well it is very cool. I've never seen one. Would fit great in a Jetson's theme.

There could be a 'must have' sub-topic.

(Another sneak in by Duane Allman)
I have a couple copies of this and on one of them the image on the inside of the gatefold is felt.
Too sad...had to throw another link up. Tom was such an amazing artist on his own, but teamed up as T.W. is unbeatable
Quoted from pacmanretro:Guess it's time to break out the Tom Petty LPs tonite...
RIP Tom...
As I get closer to 62, the passing of these legends hits closer to home. RIP Tom and Greg(g).
Well yeah but Tom is not actually gone yet. Some news outlets jumped the gun. I do like his music a lot and regret not seeing him years ago.

Thank you for the correction. I just read where he was taken off life support. Wishing him a recovery if at all possible.

Once again nothing I'm really excited about.
Back in 1993 my wife asked for one thing from the DJ we hired for our wedding reception. She wanted Steelheart's I'll never let you go for our first dance. He fucked up and didn't get it so my best man had to drive to my house and get the cd, too bad streaming wasn't a thing back then.
When I got back into records I knew I'd have to find it on vinyl but didn't realize how hard it would be to track down. Today it finally is in my collection, can't wait to listen to it with her.

No, it's Stevie Ray Saturday. (:

Lol, until the pic loaded, I sincerely thought it was going to be a Joe Cocker album!
Where is a good place online to purchase 45 records, just got my 1st jukebox.
Also 45 remakes are you able to select the song you want, assume this is extremely expensive.
Do remakes put current music on 45's
New to hobby any help is appreciated.
Lots of places to buy 45’s. Prices will vary. There are also places that for a price can make custom 45’s. I think the price is like $25 a record for custom 45’s but if there is a song never put on a 45 that’s an option. Just google and ask around and I am sure you will find plenty out there.
Ebay is probably the best. I warn against buying any "bulk lot", you will get shite. Best course is to find a ebay dealer who has a large inventory and pick and choose.
Since they are for a jukebox - like mine, you don't need NM copies.

I would check local stores first for older 45's. For a few reasons: (1) You get to know the local owners, and if you're nice and build a rapport with them, then when they get new (dropoffs) in, they'll contact you first for picking rights. (2) Cheaper, overall - unless you find an ebay seller that has a handful of records you want, shipping will double (or more) the cost of a 45's. On top of that, 45's on ebay are generally higher than you can get at local stores.

This is a great option for newer songs. However - if you remember where you saw that price, please let us know. The last time I checked, the places I found ran upwards of $60-$80 for one.
Today Amazon has Enter The Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers for only $10.75
