Not with my records but if I were this would be on the turntable instead of streaming in my ears right now. One of my two favorite guitarists. The other being the guy he traded licks with in Television - Richard Lloyd.

Can’t believe he is gone. They literally broke the mold with Tom Verlaine. NO ONE played like him. He is single-handedly responsible for my life long obsession with the jazzmaster.

I saw this in a record store last weekend. Heartwork was one of my favorite albums of the 90's. I'm not sure why, but I don't think I've ever checked out any of there other stuff. How is it?

#9963 1 year ago

Any DJ Shadow fans in the house? I love this album so much that I sprung for the signed copy.

Necroticism and Tools Of The Trade are my favorite recordings of theirs.

A new find totally by accident. Sounded A LOT like Genesis (Phil Collins), but turned out to be Marillion from 1987. Really like this album!

Great band. Their later work with Steve Hogarth is better than the early stuff. The one you have is the last one with Fish, Clutching at Straws.

I've traveled the world to see them 10-20 years ago as they didn't come over to the US to often.

Fun at the antique store today.

I never had this album before.
The bass on Inside Looking Out is crazy!
Minty vinyl and all the original sleeves. Sweet.

Hanging out at my friends place this weekend,
I got him hooked on Vintage Gear back in 2012 when I got my first Vintage Reciever the Sansui QRX-5500.

Anyway, I'm messing with his new Reciever he Purchased.
A Pioneer European version slate faced SX-9930
It's absolutely gorgeous.

And his Hitachi Uni-Torque Direct Drive HT-460 Turntable.
With Sansui SP-2500 Speakers.

First spin up... Edgar Froese, Aqua, the recent black Friday reissue of The Tangerine Dream members first 1974 solo album.
Blue Vinyl.
New artwork, and rerecorded In 2005 ?
Bonus track also !

Yep thousands of kick ass Stereos came back with Servicemen from West Germany, Okinawa, and mainland Japan... the Stereos were cheap overseas.

Here a fun " new " discovery for me...
M.A.R.S. Project Driver, 1986 Japan Press with Obi and Insert.
This was a one shot Super group.
Cheese ball over the Top Metal... sounds like a Cross between Ratt and 1987 Whitesnake, with a touch of Malmsteen shred.

Great album cover, fun Metal romp.
And drinking RUSH golden ale.... not bad.
Thanks to Robbie for the Motörhead and RUSH beer.

Heavy Phych Sounds has reissued the Nebula catalogue.
Just picked up Apollo, on blue Vinyl.
Gatefold sleeve.
Nebula is a spin off band from Fu Manchu, more phych sounding than the Fu.. but still bringing the Fu Fuzz.
This was the last Nebula album with Ruben Romano on Drums. He was the original drummer in the Fu then Nebula, after this album he formed the Freeks.

I was laughing how the $1700 Onkyo/Pioneer/Integra only put out 35 watts per channel (even though they claim 120wpc)

Also funny is how although those AVRs will allow input all the way to 192khz, but internally dump everything to 48khz
