Quoted from Dee-Bow:As long as your heart beats... pledge your allegiance!
I guess I have to pledge my allegiance to Rock….being that I belong to 2 armies…is that even possible????
The Kiss Army- yeah I am a card carrying member LOL!
And for those that know….
Suicidal Rock….Join the Army!
I wonder if Puddle of Mud gave credit to Suicidal Tendencies….the whole riff of She Fucking hates me is a DIRECT RIP OFF from I Saw Your Mommy….just changed the lyrics….
Quoted from gonzo73:Down vote !?
I'm no Kid Rock fan.... but,
music tastes are crazy eclectic... I would never down vote someone's music tastes....
Did Kid Rock F your wife ???
Down voted for ruining "Werewolves Of London"
You hear the intro of one of the greatest songs of all time, then it turns out its kid krotch blabbering

People over think downvotes!. it's the quickest & most polite way of saying you dont like or agree with a post (without getting into a debate!) Ironically..it always does!

Ok... as a Zevon fan, the downvote is understandable.
Shame on Kid R.

Got mine yesterday. The drums sound insane on it. Had some store credit on Amazon and ended up getting it for $20. Well worth that

Nice Acoustic Research turntable! I used to have the flagship AR model XA (manufactured 1971).
Quoted from Azmodeus:Had to laugh out loud.
I made Mike laugh !
More Morricone greatness
Passion, 2 lp Themes Comp, great eclectic mix of Morricone songs.
Nice !
ICON night of the crime, such a well produced album. I found a copy last year and bought it on a whim, great AOR hard Rock.
I need to track down ICON's first album.
Just got my Ghost Impera this weekend , mine is the independent record store version on Purple vinyl, with a set of five Pope stickers.
Pairing it with whiteclaw....
Fellow members of the congregation...Cheers !

20220810_234625 (resized).jpgBorn Again is a great, underrated album. A couple of throwaway songs, but Zero the Hero and Disturbing the Priest are standouts. Still got my vinyl I bought when it came out. I saw that tour at the Toledo Sports Arena, possibly with Night Ranger opening. They even had the Stonehenge stage set. And Bev Bevan drumming!
I used to be an "I hate country" guy. I'm slowly coming around. I suppose if someone based all of rock music on what they are currently overplaying on the radio they wouldn't like Rock either. I've been listening to a bunch of bluegrass since the pandemic, this guy probably bridges the gap between bluegrass and country. I haven't opened the record yet, so I can't speak to the quality of the vinyl, but this album is amazing.

Ween: 12 Golden Country Greats
and
The Supersuckers : Must've Been High
Both are great LPs.

Annnd you might as well pick up Hank Williams III - Straight to Hell
One of my wife's best friends is a huge Flickerstick fan. I think she went to one of their shows a month or two back. Some kind of reunion, maybe it was a fan reunion. Don't know, they never interested me.

Man I am sick that I wasn’t into collecting when this was released. One of my favorite albums. I hope they repress it someday.
Quoted from gonzo73:The Ken Burns County Music documentary was amazing, highly recommended.
Documentary and The soundtrack are both. incredible. Ken Burns is a hell of an artist. The Roosevelts and Vietnam are my two favorites from his work.
Quoted from Gov:Great one and done album from the 90's.
[quoted image]
One of my all-time favorite albums.
Check out Gregg Alexander's two earlier solo albums when you get a chance. (Although New Radicals is pretty much a solo album in itself.)
Quoted from Dee-Bow:Annnd you might as well pick up Hank Williams III - Straight to Hell
Hank III is great.
Quoted from gonzo73:Double shot of the snake...

Just spent 4 days in new orleans for Record Store Day couch camp. Which is a conference for indie record stores. Man vinyl and all physical media is in good hands. Futures bright. Just like pinball.
Me and Paul myers who does the RSD podcast. Loads of good stuff coming. While tackling the current issues us indie retail all face.
Remember to support your local indie record store they work their asses off.

That's really cool. I'm 90% sure my older brother was at that Winnipeg show in 86. Not sure why they played a theater that holds only 1400 people when they were already playing in arenas. Maybe because it was shortly after Cliff's death?

You should ask him. That show is considered one of the best they have ever done.
