ICON night of the crime, such a well produced album. I found a copy last year and bought it on a whim, great AOR hard Rock.
I need to track down ICON's first album.
Just got my Ghost Impera this weekend , mine is the independent record store version on Purple vinyl, with a set of five Pope stickers.
Pairing it with whiteclaw....

20220810_234625 (resized).jpgBorn Again is a great, underrated album. A couple of throwaway songs, but Zero the Hero and Disturbing the Priest are standouts. Still got my vinyl I bought when it came out. I saw that tour at the Toledo Sports Arena, possibly with Night Ranger opening. They even had the Stonehenge stage set. And Bev Bevan drumming!
I used to be an "I hate country" guy. I'm slowly coming around. I suppose if someone based all of rock music on what they are currently overplaying on the radio they wouldn't like Rock either. I've been listening to a bunch of bluegrass since the pandemic, this guy probably bridges the gap between bluegrass and country. I haven't opened the record yet, so I can't speak to the quality of the vinyl, but this album is amazing.

Check out Gregg Alexander's two earlier solo albums when you get a chance. (Although New Radicals is pretty much a solo album in itself.)

Just spent 4 days in new orleans for Record Store Day couch camp. Which is a conference for indie record stores. Man vinyl and all physical media is in good hands. Futures bright. Just like pinball.
Me and Paul myers who does the RSD podcast. Loads of good stuff coming. While tackling the current issues us indie retail all face.

That's really cool. I'm 90% sure my older brother was at that Winnipeg show in 86. Not sure why they played a theater that holds only 1400 people when they were already playing in arenas. Maybe because it was shortly after Cliff's death?

You should ask him. That show is considered one of the best they have ever done.
