Quoted from Azmodeus:I think I’m going to setup some kind of table in the future. This thread is inspiring me.
Don't get sucked in! It gets addicting like pinball .... although records take up less space!
But let me be the first one to welcome ya !
Quoted from electricsquirrel:The Stones were a band that I could take or leave, when I was younger.
Lately, I have been picking up the albums as I find them.
Guess I grew into them.
And watch Gimme Shelter to set the mood.

There some really good karma involved somewhere.
Postal service left it in the f’n rain last night. Thankfully it survived. On the turntable now and rockin’ like Don Dokken.

Hey Vid how can you not appreciate Springsteen? You don’t enjoy the sounds of this? https://open.spotify.com/track/0PlcmNiyEnRHQFZ14KxS6c?si=A91PMN1lR-Wjoo_rQ91dTw

Well. He is awful.
Quoted from guitarded:Well. He is awful.
Agree…his musical arrangements are not great. He is not a great singer. I only like Pink Cadillac…born in the USA is cheesy but I can tolerate it. He has other songs but they just aren’t that good.
If Manfred Mann had not reworked Blinded by the Light most people would never even know the song.

Could anything be worse than that Yamaha CS80 synth on Born In The USA ???
Pure suckage

Millions of people bought the record he was at it 20 years by that point and certainly the 80’s were far from his best.

pink Cadillac is a horrible song and his theme albums are unfortunate. Manford man’s interpretation of Blinded by the light is good but he’d not had the opportunity to do that of Springsteen hadn’t wrote it.
He can’t sing hmmm listen to him not sing

I’m certainly not a fan boy but there’s plenty of popular artists that suck he’s not one of them.

What about "Carmelita"?!? Never mind, that was Warren Zevon!
Quoted from Dee-Bow:What about "Carmelita"?!? Never mind, that was Warren Zevon!
You just know people say he sucks, I’d hate to have to try and literate anyone otherwise.
Very few people create art that lives even a short forever, those who do do not suck… I know Careless wisper he sucks, hear he’s talented I can’t say I wanna listen.

The lyrics for 'Mr State Trooper'?
Quoted from Elvisinmypants:Millions of people bought the record he was at it 20 years by that point and certainly the 80’s were far from his best.
In my mind, he started in '73 with that folk album. So he was 10 years in the business, when he put out one of the worst pop albums of all time.
The cover is just his ass, while he's pissing on the american flag. No false advertising here, the album is just ass.
Internet forums have proven one thing to me: Everything in history is both wildly overrated and at the same time criminally underrated.
I'd say The Boss falls into this category of being something.
He started is 67 I do believe and I’d not listen to born in the USA the man has a billion dollars he worked that ass off for and I hear well he certainly does not suck, certainly I’d not wanna hear most of his catalog or many of the albums here.

Exactly.
Negativity sucks.

Bruce has got maybe 2 good albums AFAICT
Last year he sold out his entire catalog and publishing rights to Sony for $500m - so he now has a net worth of 650 million bucks!
Started a podcast with a former president

Ok yes fact he has 650million dollars. I’d not googled him, he has sold 150 million albums. Has at least 10 songs as good as anything I’ve heard.
I listen to two podcasts slam tilt and spikes car radio I’ve only heard a handful of each last couple years. I certainly couldn’t listen to that.

Warren Zevon does not suck, that's for sure.
He invented The Misfit's favorite formula, where you have have horror movie lyrics bopping along to a happy beat.
Here with Linda Ronstadt and Jackson Browne
Excitable Boy (2007 Remaster)
Well, he went down to dinner in his Sunday best
Excitable boy, they all said
And he fncked the pot roast all over his chest
Excitable boy, they all said
Well, he's just an excitable boy
He took in the four a.m. show at the Clark
Excitable boy, they all said
And he bit the usherette's leg in the dark
Excitable boy, they all said
Well, he's just an excitable boy
He took little Suzie to the Junior Prom
Excitable boy, they all said
And he raped her and killed her, then he took her home
Excitable boy, they all said
Well, he's just an excitable boy
After ten long years they let him out of the home
Excitable boy, they all said
And he dug up her grave and built a cage with her bones
Excitable boy, they all said
Well, he's just an excitable boy
Plenty agree he has some good works. Prefer more pure artistic intent like Mohammed’s Radio.
His songwriting is far deeper that a formula he’s singing about monsters among us it’s kinda all he wrote about.

My only complaints are the "disco" song, but from what I understand, he wasn't thrilled with it either.
and...it's too damn short.
A wonderful Strat album! Waddy Watchell just shines!

Omg Fred is like a broken toilet of greatness is that, kid rock had something for a few minutes was that duet was pretty good other than he’d 0 chemistry I can’t remember it at this moment. He’s definitely not Fred and Ted sucks but he was more gifted than this context. One of the very best guitarists but he didn’t take anything else seriously I guess none of the three were serious save for becoming icons.
Quoted from vid1900:Nothing is worse than hearing the intro of Werewolves Of London, and then it's the gay Kid Kock song....[quoted image]
I had tickets for what turned out to be the Firm’s final tour, but the band broke up and some dates got canceled. I was very disappointed.
