Quoted from gonzo73:check these guys out.
My order has been pushed back, glad you got yours.
STÖNER, stoner rule
New band from Brant Bjork, Ryan Güt, and Nick Olivieri .
Groovy, fuzzy, garage phych.
If you dig Brant's solo stuff, you'll dig this.
STÖNER is going to tour with Clutch in America in December.

The Isleys Live , 2lp.
Recorded in 1972, at the Bitter End club.
Released 1973.
Track down a copy of this gem.
Holy shit, Earnie Isleys blazing , and I mean atomic inferno, Guitar solo's are breathtaking.
Side D is just astounding, they tear up Neil Youngs Ohio right into Hendrix Machinegun.

Perry White always thought those were great.

Play some ZZ Top!
Talk about coincidence…..I just finished cleaning all my albums Monday……played all my ZZ Top yesterday. Got a few more I need to add to the collection but the first album is one of my favorites.

Love Iggy. If you haven’t checked out some of his newer stuff, like Free, you should. It’s different for Iggy, but really really good. I love that album.
Hit the record stores this weekend. Getting hard to find used records I am interested in but found a couple.

But it brings back memories of how exciting it was as a kid to get a new album. Saw Queensryche on their Empire tour….they also played Operation Mindcrime in its entirety. Epic show!

I try to support my local small record shop, but prices are sometimes double what I could get it for on Discogs.

Agree with you on this. Glad to support the local shops when I can.

I know!
I sold about a dozen sealed OOP LPs last week and paid for my Hotdoggin'.
Quoted from gonzo73:Sammy Hagar, live Loud and Clear.

Where did you purchase?
Discogs, I ordered it from Croatia, believe it or not.
Made the order and crossed my fingers.
Showed up in 2 weeks, great condition.
I could never find a copy in the wild, here in socal, so I went with discogs. It's not expensive, I think the shipping was the same $ as the album price.

I’m stealing this for the “funny captions” thread.
I'm glad I stumbled onto this thread. Two of my favorite things in one place. Pinball and Vinyl. For anyone who lives in the Northern Virginia area, there is a Vinyl night at Lost Rhino Brewery in Ashburn. Bring your own vinyl and you can spin on their equipment. Myself and a few of the other vinyl crew recently upgraded the turntables. The equipment sounds great through the board, Hafler amp and EV speakers. We also have an out from the board to the house sound so that you can hear the vinyl in all three rooms plus outside. To top it off there are currently 8 tables there.
BYOV vinyl night is on Tuesdays starting at 5 PM. They also have a Pinball league on Wednesdays.
