Been some time since I seen anyone post some Alice Cooper. Took in his last tour, the guy is still rocking.

I've been waiting ages for these 2 re issues from HHV store in Berlin
Some really strong tracks on both albums.

Green and blue splatter vinyls.
I'm not a big fan.
Vinyl is supposed to be black

I'm not a big fan.

I love ALL vinyl...but I love well pressed color vinyl most.

#6056 3 years ago

Anyone interested in ABBA.. Target has a limited amount of ABBA GOLD on GOLD vinyl... Yet another Target colored LP exclusive.

More Alice!
Rhino has done a great job reissuing the catalog all the way to Dada. Nice packaging, remastering, and good sounding color Vinyl.
I've picked them all up except for Lace and Whiskey.
Love it to death is my stone cold favorite.

Just got Dirty Diamonds, not a Rhino release.
It's a really great album that sounds more like the classic hard rock boogie of the classic Coop band, than the foux metal of the late eighties.

Two of Coverdale's best,
Live in the Heart of the City, 1979 2 LP. Early era whitesnake live, great bluesy hard rock.

Deep Purple Burn, 1974, my second favorite Purple album.

Gonzo73, what's with all the jp press? you live there?

Quoted from Thunderpants:

My guess is Obi Strips and superior sound quality.

#6061 3 years ago

No, just collect them, some say they are better sounding pressings, but who knows.
I have a friend who travels to Japan 3 times a year and buys records for his shop, I get first pick of the records, and I give him a long shopping list.

Because of covid I only have access to my Japan Obi collection, and new stuff, the majority of my records and all my regular pressings are elsewhere.

This album is well recorded and pretty damn good!

Rondino Nero, by JR Transrotor, made in Germany

#6065 3 years ago

It's the super deluxe turntable, pressure cooker, espresso maker, vanity mirror, and all in one awesome gadget!

#6066 3 years ago

If that brush isn't geuine silver badger hair, you aren't getting the most out of that turntable.

Nice ride!

nope it just plays Vinyl.

#6068 3 years ago

It's a work of art, is what it is.
Gorgeous.

#6069 3 years ago

The little dust brush is just too much!

Hilarious and awesome.

Cheers mate, have a dedicated listening room in the house and took a long time to put this system together. If I ever move most will probably have to stay as the speakers alone are roughly 550 lbs a piece

#6071 3 years ago

Shure and Stanton (among others I am sure) produced Carts with integrated brushes for a reason. Dust makes Rust look like it has Narcolepsy...

The setup you see here is a marked improvement on that concept. Works really well.

Horse hair from a Fusaichi Pegasus.

Here is the full set up just to operate this turntable.

Exactly, and to save time they just take the piss from the same Fusaichi Pegasus to create the steam!

Phono Preamp, Step-Up and a Speed Controller if I guess correctly?

#6077 3 years ago

Redeemer of Souls.
Firepower.
The last two Priest albums are two of thier finest. Rob's voice is as strong as ever. Richie Faulkener has fitted in perfectly with Priest.

These really are two of my favorite Priest albums of all time.
If your a fan, and haven't given them a listen, you're in for a treat.

I’m with you on Firepower but I found redeemer a little dull and didn’t love the production.

Got this copy signed at an event in union square...brought a Firepower Backglass but couldn’t get it past the goons!

They are working on another album now, I’m sure there will be some killer tunes on it!

I saw High on Fire at Alex's Bar in Long Beach 10 years ago, and saw them open for Fu Manchu several times before that.
Fun live band.

1999 they played the Brighton Bar in Long Branch. I video taped it, but it was so loud you really can't hear anything.

Solace - The Brink

Give it a listen if you dig classic metal. I think classic metal is the best description.

The production, and guitar tones on Invasion Privacy are just stunning.
The first two Ratt records are near perfect.
