Nice I have the ozzy 8 including 13, which sounds fucking awful (thanks rick Rubin!)
The original 7 sound amazing on vinyl.
Quoted from 72Devilz:NM original pressing found at a thrift store today. $10 well spent!
Most excellent!! My minimalistic but one owner Yes collection. In very mint vinyl but wore the covers out!!

I probably never would have listened to Slade if not for him. Definitely sad news.

Ah... Slade. They were making the "big noize" 14 years before Quiet Riot came along with their note for note copy of "Come on feel..." I dont mind if somebody does an interesting version of someone elses song. But if its just a copy, whats the point. Tho I suppose I guess it did turn a few people on to Slade. I saw them here back in about 71-72 I think they were on the bill with the Amboy Dukes. Been a fan ever since.

That TR-909 table is proper, is that a special edition or custom job?

It’s the Roland TT-99, great turntable (sadly it’s been discontinued) I have two of them in the house. It really came alive when I added the Ortofon Red M2. My Ortofon Blue M2 arrives tomorrow to step it up another notch!
I’ve been eyeing the MOFI re-release of Donald Fagens Nightfly on 45 rpm vinyl but couldn’t justify spending $400 and after reading several forums people were recommending the original MFSL half speed pressing. I was lucky enough to find a copy for half that of the closest asking price of $250. Wow this MFSL pressing is beautiful to the ears, Cross one off the bucket list!

Very cool, looks almost exactly like my Technics AT-LP120-USB, just different colors...probably better components though!

Out of the box they are very similar tables. The TT-99 is very heavy which I like. Overall I think it’s break even on feature and quality. Both tables unfortunately ship with bare bones entry level cartridges and needles which limit their performance but that’s easily remedied by upgrading.
Wow it's been a long time since I've posted here. I'm so happy that my wife and I decided to drive into town today to hit some garage sales. Found a box of records at the last sale of the day and was sorting thru when my jaw almost dropped when I saw a white album. I asked how much are the records. $1.00 each the guy says. I go to pay and he says $5.00 for the seven records cause I like your Roughriders facemask. Also scored my favorite Van Halen album! What a great day!!
20200828_170916.jpgAnyone else do the Record Store Day thing today? I picked up the three I was interested in and found the Nevermore that's been sitting there since RSD 2016.
Also grabbed my 2 favorite Danzig albums. Self titled on clear, Lucifuge on dark orange with splatter

Totally forgot that was today. I lost track of all the RSD drops when they inevitably expanded from once a year. Really want Spacehog's debut 2xLP, which is on wax for the first time ever, but man, forty bucks. I'm too cheap for modern vinyl.
Grabbed the Black Crowes and the Al Green offerings online as I didn't feel like going to the local.
No stores close to me to enjoy record store day but I am making my way through some stacks of records I procured a few months back. This mint second pressing of Bat Out Of Hell is heavenly!
Then like a sinner before the gates of Heaven
I'll come crawling on back to you
Might as well give it a try... Anyone on here by chance have the into the wild soundtrack by Eddie Vedar? Been trying to track one down locally to no avail
Quoted from waldo34:Butt Rocking, super excited as I have been hunting for this Fabulous Thunderbirds album for some time. Found it in St Louis at Vintage Vinyl. Awesome store, I left a few dollars lighter.

That's great! Found that at my local antique mall a little while back. Love the Thunderbirds!
Quoted from Chisox:Been a while since I grabbed some new vinyl. All Them Witches are always an instant buy whenever they release a new one.

Ahh good lookin', I had no idea another one was due.
