Metal Heart by Accept is awesome. You'll dig it.

All I know i "Too High to get it Right" is a great song title.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Hah! Is that an original or reissue with actual peeling banana?
It's a nice shiny reissue.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Stained Class is the best Judas Priest album probably.
Agreed. On the Mount Rushmore of metal albums for me. KK and Glenn were so locked in.
Quoted from pinkid:Stained Class is an overlooked album. Priest were at a new level then.
Let’s hear it for Les Binks!
Kind of ahead of the times...it’s telling that they replaced him with a Phil Rudd
type in holland.
Mail call. “I’m a streetwalkin’ cheetah with a heart full of napalm” now that’s how you open a motherfuckin’ album! I remember seeing this album cover back in the 70s as a young lad and it it freaked me out. Little did I know it would end up being one of my desert island picks. Not too keen on Iggy’s remix but the price was right getting both versions.
Yeah I keep wondering about “new remixed vinyl.” I don’t really want remixes as the new mix is always louder and shittier than the originals.
Trying to stick to original vinyl. It’s like, if I want the shitty modern mix, I’ll download the mp3.
Like the brand new ozzy I got (ordinary man new album). Which of course is mixed too loud. I’m sure the cd/digital version is worse though.

And a lot of the time the remixes are done off a digital source rather than analog which makes it even worse. I had heard this remix that Bowie had done about 20 yrs ago and they did it right. Agreed 100% on the rest though, there aren’t too many labels I trust to do it the right way.
The Black Sabbath album 13 sounds like shit on vinyl and everywhere else.
Another rick Rubin hack job !!!
There's an entire Pinball World's worth of knowledge out there for Vinyl Masterings and Re-Issues.
Steve Hoffman Forums is a good place to start if you want to check for the best / worst pressings.

Yeah there’s a world of info on there. That forum can be the biggest time suck for me between all the vinyl and gear threads. It’s awesome.
Saw an old rerun of SNL recently and Devo was the musical guest. They did their cover of the Stone’s Satisfaction and it sounded great.

Get these if “You are Devo”.

Agreed, High and Dry and On Through the Night were both great albums. After that, not so much. So sad that Steve Clark lost his battle with alcoholism.
This is what I'm getting into tonight, pretty all over the place. I picked up the devo boxset from last record store day, and while the box packaging isn't much to write home about, I was impressed that each album contained all of the original pack in stuff, like that sweet poster from New Traditionalists. Never found Hardcore Devo on vinyl, but my CD copies of vol.1 and 2 got wore out pretty good!

I think the increased consumption of alcohol has a lot to do with it.
......not a bad thing, mind you!

Man I wish I was cruising out into the desert plains on a highway paved with 80s printer paper right about now...
I gotta nuthin’, to lose...at ALLLLLLLLL!
Quoted from Fulltilt:It’s the vinyl and what you find inside that really sets it apart. [quoted image][quoted image]
I have a handful of these masterdiscs but damn I wish I would have picked up more back when they were more reasonably priced!

My only other Master Record. But it’s a sweet one.

Not a big fan of the movie, but the soundtrack is AMAZING! Prices people are asking are INSANE! Until it's either re-released on vinyl or I find one for a reasonable price... I'll just keep having Alexa stream it
Did a little RETAIL SHOPPING today, which is awesome. Been a few months.
The priest and tejas are new the el loco an original.
Tejas sounds amazing and it’s purple for some reason. Funny thing I didn’t realize until I listened to it that I didn’t know a single song on it, no hits. Great sounding and mellow album. It’s good but I see why it gets lost in shuffle.
Ram it down sounds pretty bad but it’s a bad album the fake drums are horrible. That’s cool I love the cover. And Halford and the guitars are as good as ever some amazing stuff. Whole album sounds like a demo with those crappy fake drums, and lots of cheesy songs.
About to check out El Loco I’m sure it’s great.

That was the first ZZ Top album I ever bought.
I always thought that a gold tooth wouldn't look out of place on that picture of Dusty!

Quoted from electricsquirrel:now she has decided she likes the Stones.
Play her "Star Star" she may change her mind again, unless its the edited version. Back when it came out I had to buy an import to get the unedited version. Maybe some of the re-issues have the unedited version, I don't know, All I have are the US original and a original import.
Jagger is a "creep" Hell, if they were a bunch of choir boys, they wouldn't be the Rolling Stones, they'd be Pat Boone.
Sweet stones collection!
It seems you have been able to resist the allure of Dirty Work? Good for you, it's terrible!
Oh wait, never mind. Hey I don't blame you I'm a completist also!
My ancient copy of Goats Head Soup doesn't have an "edit" that must have been some later prints. It's an ok album but don't find myself listening to it much. Starfucker is a fun raunchy chuck berry workout featuring a bunch of names nobody under 40 is gonna recognize.
Actually there is a Dirty Work in there. I thought it wasn't such a bad album, just kinda middle of the road. I always thought their low points were "Satanic Majesties Request" and "Black and Blue" both of which I have (being a completist) of course. Hell, Ive even got Wymans solo albums, sad...
Love their first album (in mono) and Beggars Banquet.
